I've understood that the new release of X-notifier with FF 50 doesn't permit to import scripts.
The problem is that I use very often the Office365 script available on your scripts section, because I've got some Office365 accounts. Is that planned that Office365 will be included natively in future version of X-notifier? In order to not use script for it.
First, I have tried reading through the forums and I see a lot of topics about the new version of firefox. If I missed the topic, someone please just direct me to that answer.
I tried both X-Notifier classic and the Neo version.
I wanted to let the developer know that accounts are not persisted when the browser is in Private Mode or, like I do, when the "Never Remember History" option is selected in the preferences. I suspect that Firefox is deleting some important information when the browser is closed.
Please let me know if this is a limitation of the new WebExtensions API or a bug that could be fixed.
I've read that Firefox is changing some things in version 50, which forced userscripts out. Did it also do away with the icon representing your email host (and mail count for that account only)?
this new version of XN is really not good. i've recreated all my accounts but only a few of them connect. most do not. when i click on the account it takes me to the right email system (gmail, yahoo, etc). but it won't log me in. i have to manually log in. i also cannot see if i have new messages in a folders other than my inbox. this version is not usable, IMO.
It seems the world is ending. I got lucky and checked this site before upgrading, so i promptly made an export of my account info.
So I survived the first wave.
But now all my accounts dont work. well, i guess maybe 2 do. No gmails do.
So, to my point. Why not do a blog post or something with the state of all this mess and what to do? and a big sticky at the top like the old forum has? Cause we want to help as many survivors as we can right?
also WTF am i supposed to do now? I really want to survive the next wave...
