with FF 50.0.1 no accounts can be saved in "Never Remember History" mode.

I tried both X-Notifier classic and the Neo version.

I wanted to let the developer know that accounts are not persisted when the browser is in Private Mode or, like I do, when the "Never Remember History" option is selected in the preferences. I suspect that Firefox is deleting some important information when the browser is closed.

Please let me know if this is a limitation of the new WebExtensions API or a bug that could be fixed.

This could be related with a known issue in the firefox 50 release notes:
