X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

seems there has just been an update.. not only has it lost all my accounts but now its just a useless addon which doesnt seem to be doing anything.

and it is not working, have manually re-entered my emails/pw's and it still does not function. Also the ability to choose whether it is ative or not is not there, please fix.

Am aware there is a 'not working in FF 50 subject up already, but that 1 is for when it was 'pre-release', this is for the released for regular update version of FF

X-Notifer icon is greyed out and unresponsive when I right click on: check now, options, help and X-Notifer window.  Left click does nothing.

Right clicking on X-Notifer sidebar will bring up the sidebar.  Right clicking on "enable" will remove the check mark or add the check mark.

I'm using FF  v49.0.2 and X-N  v3.5.23.  FF 49.0.2  is compatible with X-N 3.5.23, so FF says.

Need help fixing this.

I am not getting any notification at all and I can't see the xnotifer control pannel when using FF 50.0  I'm using xnotifier Version 3.5.23 which works fine but if I upgrade to Version 4.0.1 then that's where the problem is? I'm useing FF 50.0b8 but if I upgrade to FF 50.0 then nothing works. Can any help with this issue? I don't want to change my browser. Just to add a note: So long as I use FF 50.0b8 and Xnotifier Version 3.5.23 everything is fine but as soon as I shut down FF and restart, Xnotifer updates to Version 4.0.1 and nothing works

This has been over a week since I installed firefox and xnotifier on my new hard drive. I can only access it in chrome.

X-N v. 4.0.1 is not producing any sound for alerts (FF 49.0.2).  I have tried changing the sound file in settings, but to no avail.  All other audio on FF and on my machine are working fine.

Additionally, the alert pop-up only stays visible for a couple seconds, vs. ~5-10 sec. in the old version.  Any way to make it longer?

Just updated to Neo and have experienced when the notification box pops-up and shows a new email, clicking on the notification box immediately puts the new email into the Trash floder.

Is that by design? Or am I missing something in the setup? Can clicking the box resut in opening the emal?

I'm using X-Notifier 3.5.23 with Firefox 49.0.1, but Gmail account is not working from at least three months.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Every time FF gets an update tons of add-on stop working and need to be MANUALLY updated to work again. I am starting to hate FF for that a lot now.

Now even the Xnotifier doesn't work after being updated to this all new fancy version.

1. advanced options tab is completely missing and those options are not available even through about:config, they're gone

2. right-clicking the icon to bring up the list of accounts is not functioning now and left-click will do that instead of opening the default mailbox
