Hi. Unfortunately a couple days ago X-notifier 4.2.14 stopped logging into gmail. I saw a news post "Third-party cookies problem in X-notifier for Firefox" but none of the suggestions in that post worked. All my gmail accounts appear red when I click the icon list. When I click on one, I get the gmail page to choose an account to log into. If I click a different one, it just opens the account I logged into from the first click.
Hotmail doesn't seem to work on either firefox or chrome. This just stratedthe other day so maybe it's the firefox update again. I tried clearing cache and cookies but still the same. Anyone have any solutions?
*Update: Now chrome seems to be working but not firefox
Microsoft popped up a prompt needing me to click "Next" during login to my hotmail and outlook.com accounts... ...so X-Notifier wasn't able to check for new email.
To clear this...
You'll have to Open a new tab, Goto hotmail.com and/or outlook.com, or live.com... Log in manually... and then click "Next" on the pop-up (that will clear it), and it will then go to your account...
...then X-Notifier will be able to check your account for new email.
Having some issue with above mentioned version which i didn't experience before. I have tried it with firefox and chrome, and both have the same.
I'm using several hotmail accounts, and in general always went smoothly.
But now my main hotmail account, the one which is marked doesn't notify of new mail anymore, it also shows up in red in the app window. But when i click on it, it navigates correct to my mail page.
The other accounts still working like they should, it is only with 1 mail account and it keeps surfacing.
When AT&T and Yahoo E-mail were working together I was able to log into my att.net email account with X-notifier. I simply set up my att.net email account as if it were a Yahoo one.
Now that the two companies have separated, X-notifier is unable to check my mail. Is there a way around it, other than pointing the browser to www.att.com and manually log into my AT&T account?
