X-Notifier 3.5.23 broken in Pale Moon

Hello!
Today my X-Notifier 3.5.23 stopped signing into Gmail.
The reason I'm running such an old version is because I use Pale Moon (27.3 x86)

What is the newest version of X-Notifier that will work with Gmail and Pale Moon?

I love X-Notifier so much (I've tried so many others but XN really is the best!) and I'm sad that I might not be able to use it anymore :(
Thank you for any suggestions or advice!

Browser Profiles

For anyone not familiar with the concept:
Browser profiles aim to separate the clean browser installation from whatever user-chosen additional action. Profiles are parallel folders within the hidden browser installation folder. You can simply switch between them. Your (literary named) default profile folder is not affected. You can even start your fresh 'test' profile to test X-notifier, add all your regular stuff and decide to ditch (delete) your previous default profile in order to rename the 'test' profile to 'default'.

XN4 and XN-Neo behaviour change in Gmail: Concerns about privacy and account handling

I want to ask about a behaviour lost in the new email checkers (XN4 and XN-Neo), what i think some people doesn't notice and maybe some could be concerned. Maybe is for the new Firefox limitations or Google changes, but maybe the developer can clarify things or do something (or maybe not).

4.0.3 impressions firefox

First of all i want to thank the developer for his several hours to create/test this great plugin which made our lives easier by checking several acounts through the browsers.

I dont know if i missed something that i should have done or if anyone else has these problems but thats what i faced. I am not a coder so i dont understand what happens below deck but thats how  see it on my end.

After several hours testing and install/uninstall i have decided to revert back to 3.5.23 until goes fully dead.Im sorry but i dont like version 4. Maybe will try again future builds.

NEW X-Notifier... UPDATED to 4.0.3... Again SUPPORTS GMAIL (with fix for Yahoo, Hotmail 2-step)

The developer found a way around the problem with the "new" Gmail login and updated X-Notifier to 4.0.3 (also fixing some problem with Yahoo and Hotmail 2-step).

HOWEVER, he still recommends X-Notifier NEO (over the new 4.03) ...for Gmail.

xnotifier stopped working with new gmail/google login

Just noticed that xnotifier doesn't log in automatically anymore.  Google/gmail seems to have a new login page.  XN won't log in automatically, I get the "mail not checked" alert in red.  When I click on it, instead of logging my in automatically as it usually does, it takes me to a Google sign in page.  The login page is different/new.  (This page describes the change they made: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/7338427?visit_id=0-6362945227...)

Helping and not yelling

I really don't understand.

email accounts on toolbar (better explaination in thread)

Long story short, lve had to update to the latest version due to my older stable becoming very buggy (and by older version l mean the older style version which l stuck with for one pure reason.

Gmail grayed out in 3.5.23

Since yesterday Gmail has been grayed out in 3.5.23. You can click Gmail and it takes you to Google/My Account and has you logged in. From there I can select the Google apps icon at the top and check my mail but notifier isn't actually showing new mail nor does clicking Gmail in notifier actually take you to the inbox anymore. I've removed xnotifier and reinstalled v 3.5.23 for it to have the same exact issue.

Well Done and Thanks

I just wanted to say Thanks to the author of this addon.

It's been favourite of mine for years, and generally works well. Sure, there's been times it wouldn't login to a particular account, or service BUT, the author always responds quickly with a solution.

I really appreciate the addon, and the dedicated response from tobewithu for this.

Cheers - Trevor
