Hi, I always used X-notifier without problems. Since I installed the version 4.0.2 on Firefox 52.0.2 it not work anymore. I set the parameters of the account and everything works fine. When I close and reopen Firefox the account is no longer present and I have to add it again. Which is the problem? Thank you.
I had to get a new computer. I installed windows 10, and the latest version of firefox (and X-notifier). Every time it checked for new mail, it would reload the entire tab in Firefox, which I didn't like. I thought it was a problem with the latest version, so I went back to the previous version (3.5.23). For some reason, every time it checks for mail I get a popup asking for login verification for my gmail account. This seems vaguely familiar, but I don't remember how to fix this. Anybody else remember how to make this go away?
Something scrambled my Firefox set up today. When I reconfigured and eventually also reinstalled Firefox and x-notifier I found that Hotmail and Yahoo now require me to sign in every time I open them with x-notifier. Also the Hotmail and Yahoo icons have disappeared from the dropdown window. I have tried many times to check the Yahoo and Hotmail sign in page option to keep me signed in, but that is not happening. Any suggestions for restoring full functionality would be apprfeciatred. Google mail is not affected.
whe I click to open x-notifier a window opens that does not show the email accounts names installedd. You have to hover over them all to see them. Is this the new design or something or is ita prob with my PC setup, etc. ???
I have used this for years and years.. and now I cannot see unread emails number count and the envelope for X notifer stays grey only. I have to manually click on each account, rather than all unread emails opening all mail accounts.
I imported using Firefox.xn file from X-notifier 35.23 and it works better using Gmail than Aol accounts , so i think this whole bug thing got to do with what type of email were using.
When I updated to v.4, it erased all my data, so I had to import the .xn file. The problem is that the passwords do not work. I had to re-enter most of the passwords to get it to check them. None of the PWs had changed, they simply did not work with the new version.
I'm back to 3.5.23 for now, because I like the one-click to open all emails that have new messages. I hope this can be worked out in the future on newer versions.
I've been atempting to add ONE.com webmail to my list of mails but i cant find the add-script button that used to be in the options. Has the way you add new scripts changed or something? Or is there something wrong?
