X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Since Firefox updated to 44.0, the yellow X-Notifier icon disappeared from the Notification alert window (in the bottom-right side of the screen).

We now only see a white rectangle. (It's white on a white background.)

So it's harder to see notice that we have received new messages. 

Having the yellow X-Notifier icon in the Notification alert window made it easier to notice.

Could you possibly fix it so that the Notification alert window looks similar to what it used to be untill Firefox 43?

Today Firefox (43) locked up, and when I restarted it, all of my XNotifier account info was gone. Does anyone know how to recover the account info?

I installed the addon yesterday, added the GMX (with Navigator) script and *successfully* logged in. There is a problem though, the addon doesn't check the Inbox messages:
- the X-notifier stays gray,
- hovering over the addon button shows 'GMX : not checked.'

I *already* used the first 2 methods described here:

Anybody have any sugestions on how to get notification if something is in these lables? Now the choices are theprimary and spam. Personally I have used then to separate my emails but still would like to know when something arrives. Thanks for any thoughts

Logs into Twitter on startup but doesn't give notification of number of new tweets. Also does not do interval checks for new tweets after login. Works OK for Gmail though.

Hello guys,i need desperately last version of this notfier for Firefox...the last one dont work anymore with last version installed,please i need so bad of this.Can you create and help us with a new one notifier to install for Firefox? I have 46 years old,i need to check multiple mail accounts,and i use only Firefox,is much easier for me.I really apreciate some help here,guys,i respect your work and i have faith in you to help us,Firfox users.

For the longest time I have been using Cyberfox Portable.  I decided to give Firefox 44 a look.  So I copied my profile into Firefox folder and launched Firefox.  After the verification process of the addons, XN was visible and working.  I then checked the updates status and it noted that XN could not be verified, so I selected to update.  It tried to do it an update to XN, failed and then disabled it and will not start or load.

Has anyone else seen this?

I have several Gmail accounts.  When I try to open the contacts or calendar of a Gmail account it always opens the default Gmail account contacts or calendar (even if the default account is not open).  How to I open the contacts page of a non-default account?

About a week or so ago, gmail stopped working completely. It is grey and when I click on it, it takes me to https://inbox.google.com where I am logged normal into my gmail account. Around this time, Google somehow switched my gmail account automatically to the new google inbox, which is where that link takes you. Is this the cause of this problem? And how can I solve the problem?
