As X-notifier no longer works apart from this topic and the first of my email accounts, is it possible to transfer from Firefox to Chrome?
This has nothing to do with Firefox or any other browser. When Windows 10 opened with great fanfare Google removed all passwords from X-notifier leaving only this forum functioning. X-notifier has not worked, apart from this forum, since changing to Chrome, when Windows 10 removed all passwords from Firefox on Windows 7.
I have FF 44.0.2 and x-notifier 3.5.19. I noticed a couple of days ago that two of my Gmail accounts are greyed out, and I have to manually click on them to open and see there is e-mail. Both accounts have 2-factor verification, and I already typed in the code I received via text. They were set up prior to the updates and could display new e-mail just fine. I made no changes to the settings.
EDIT: I have two other Gmail accounts that are NOT 2-factor and they read e-mail just fine.
Today I noticed that X-Notifier (the latest version) didn't check any of my Gmail accounts in my FF 40.0.3. I tried reintroducing my Gmail account data but the problem persisted. I also wanted to email you a log file, but it was 0 bytes and it couldn't be attached!
I use the script for mail dot com and whenever I visit mail.com to my email account, I always get this popup notification "You forgot to logout" in which I have to click it to close which slows me down.
But I ALWAYS click the logout button when I leave mail.com. So that makes me think that maybe this X-Notifier Script for mail dot com is not logging out after each check for mail, and maybe it needs to be to prevent this logout notification. Could you please add the logout steps into the mail dot com script if that is what is necessary to prevent the logout notification?
Gmail to check the mail, a Google security system blocks my e-mail, I get the message that someone has my password and I unlock it, this happens every time start Firefox.
I'm not able to identify a cause, but for the past week, my X-notifier add-on has been unable to check my Outlook account (created after Microsoft shifted away from Hotmail) and a POP3 account with my ISP, although both have work without problems of any kind before that. The information requested to add both accounts is correct, so I am unsure what the problem is. I have two HP notebooks that I use FF on with the X-notifier add-on -- I am using FF 4.0.1, and have Windows 10 with the November 2015 upgrade and all subsequent updates install.
