X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Missing from Chrome Store

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I see about a month ago that X-notifier was removed from the Google Store, and the front page here says so also. Nothing else has been said about it since, though. Will this extension continue on, or make it back into the store? I really like it and would hate to see it disappear from Chrome.

Several security questions about x-notifier for chrome

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

1.Where does x-notifier for chrome store the accouts & passwords ? It seems not in %userprofile%\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\cdfjbkbddpfnoplfhceolpopfoepleco

2.Are the stored accouts & passwords encrypted ? How ? AES 128?256? OR other?

3.Will the accouts & passwords be transferred to anywhere or stored anywhere (e.g in tobwithu's server) beside in my HDD?

The security of e-mail is the toppest.

Think about the Heartbleed in the past month, I'm afraid of using XN without understanding how it works. Could anybody explain it completely and clearly? Thank you.

Auto logout at Chorme's close+disable auto-check at launch

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello,

I'm discovering X-Notifier for Chromium and I'm loving it. It'd be a perfect app if it was possible to logout my accounts automaticaly (4 Gmail, 1 Yahoo &  1 Hotmail) when I close chromium

For the moment, when I re-open chromium and show the basic Google official page, I can see that my Gmail accounts are logged by defaut... And it could be cool if i can find an option to avoid that!

I know that if I manually logout my accounts before close chromium, there will be no problem when i re-open chromium...

Am I missed an option in X-notifier option (why can't I checkout the "default" option for at least one of my accounts?)?

Is it possible to create this option if it doesn't exists? (in the past, some extensions was able to do that in chrome: "Simple mail checker for gmail", "Gmail Multi-notifier", but theses extensions are only for gmail accounts, and their developpement are stopped...)

Thanks in advance for any response.

NB: Thus, is it possible to disconnect the auto-check at Chromium's launch? I'd prefer to use manually the "Check now" option only when I want to check my e-mails...

NB: Sorry for my poor english level...

X-notifier doesn't work now with new computer for Yahoo email

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I just purchased a new computer and I had to re-enter my information to set-up the x-notifier extension (Chrome) for alerts from Yahoo email, as the information was not saved from before. For some reason it will not save my user name or password when I click on save. It just re-sets itself, and when I click on the yahoo page, it is still blank?  I have not been contacted by the manager in response to this problem, and have not found a way to re-set my account. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be appreciated.

Rare account activity when using X-notifier

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hi there:

Im having a weird problem. From time to time, I get an email from Microsoft saying that my profile information changed. The email is the following one: http://i.imgur.com/2Pk9tJR.png

The email is valid and trusted so I check the account activity and it shows that my profile info have been changed from an IP from USA. If I search that IP, its owned by Microsoft and there arent any profile information changed really.

These emails have been being usual lately and, even if seems to be safe as there is nothing changed, I noticed that most of times they are triggered by x-notifier. For example, sometimes just after receiving an aler of an email, I click the x-notifier button and select the account to read the email. That leads me directly to the inbox and just after doing so, a new email appears from Microsoft with the same subjet.

This doesnt happens always but almost like once a day, sometimes twice a day, and sometimes I get these emails randomly without pushing the x-notifier button.

After several days I guess there is "something" in the way that x-notifier is accessing to my accounts that is trigering this. Thats why I write this post to see if someone is getting the same issues and for you, the developer, to investigate a bit about this. A quick google search revealed more people receiving these emails as well and also using Chrome. Is hard to know what we all have in comon tho so Ill just leave this here and wait for a response to see if you know what could be trigering all these annoying and kinda "scary" emails.

Regards.-

Open all accounts with new mail

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I've been using X-notifier for months now on Firefox.  I just switched to Chrome last night and was pleased to find that you also have a Chrome extension. :)

One thing I'm missing is the ability to open all accounts with new email.  I'm guessing that the "Open" menu item is supposed to do this, but when I click it nothing happens.

To work round it I've changed the option to automatically open the accounts when I get new mail, so I don't have to click my 7 accounts individually to open them.  I'd much rather have the open function working though, could you have a look at it?

Cheers.

X-Notifier for Yahoo shows red in Chrome

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

My X-notifier shows the Yahoo email account in red and no notification of any email messages received. When I click on the Yahoo account in X-notifier Yahoo mail opens up fine.  My concern is how do I fix this so the notifier shows mail received in the Yahoo account?   I have reset the password and get no change.  The notifier works fine for Gmail.
