X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

(This post is for use with the Google Chrome 37.0.2062.102 m browser on Windows (8.1)... I doubt the versions really matter.)

In case this wasn't already known...
When I have X-Notifier set to check multiple Gmail accounts... and ...I have Google Voice/Talk/Chat embedded in one of my Gmail accounts... then, when I'm logged in via tab ...X-Notifier appears to break my Chat session (drops the link/call/whatever).  It's "Opps it appears ...etc".  

This is important to me because sometimes I want to use Google Chat for voice calls (with Google Voice)... and X-Notifier's switching sessions (I guess) to check multiple Gmail accounts will cause Google Chat to drop the voice call... and it can't reconnect automatically. I have to refresh my Gmail tab/webpage so I can redial.   For the time being, I've disabled my alternate Gmail accounts in X-Notifier.

I say Google Voice/Talk/Chat because it's hard to tell which one is 'embedded'... when I log into my Gmail account via browser, I get the little panel to the right side of my Gmail webpage with my user icon, a tiny phone handset icon and a vidcam icon... for starting voice or video calls.  Google implies it's just Chat but it's tied into my Google Voice number.   (I won't even talk about "Hangouts"... Google keeps changing things too much.)

Anyway... just thought I'd mention the mail check seems to break Chat calls.

Hotmail, Outlook, etc... is forcing a verification code.

If you start having problems with X-Notifier not checking Hotmail/Outlook/Live.com... then manually open a new tab in your browser and manually go to hotmail.com or outlook.com or live.com... and sign in.  You may get a prompt from Microsoft that they need you to enter a code that they will email  you.

Microsoft is forcing this 'verification' code on some users, and it interferes, like any miscellaneous automatic prompt can, with X-Notifier.

After you get that code entry done, X-Notifier will work fine.

Hi,

X-notifier only shows mail of the "Primary" tab in Gmail. Is there a way  to make it notify me of mail in all tabs?

I'm using chrome. Thank you.

It is not mentioned in the user guide or FAQ.  Could not find answer with a forum  search.

When importing/exporting, I am challenged for a password.  Thankfully, I know what it is.  Where/how do I change it though???

Takes me to GMX inbox page .. (logged in??), but in about 1 second, goes to their HOME page.  I have to click LOGIN in order to proceed.  The script DOES seem to check for mail ...just can't log in with it.

I don't think I am doing this wrong.  I download mail.com.js and save it.  I open OPTIONS, ... and click SCRIPTS button, .. click ADD button, point to the .js file, and click OK.  Select mail.com from drop down menu, fill in user ID and p/w and click save.  Still  stays red and will not log into account.

permissions 에 "proxy" 를 추가하고

Lately, when I do an export I download a 'download.txt' file instead of a chrome.xn file.  Am I doing something wrong.  Worked fine before.  thank you in advance.

Hi, I have been a long time user of webmail notifier (x-notifier) on firefox. I just discovered that you offer a version for Chrome. Can I export my FF x-notifier settings to setup x-notifier for Chrome, so that I don't have to retype my webmail accounts and passwords?

I'm going to never use again this addon if you guy don't remove the publicty that pop up everywhere because of your addon !!!
