Version4.2.21

Updated January 10, 2021

Please don't think this is a complaint because it is not. Also if I missed an announcement I am not trying to be provocative I just didn't see the announcement.

I greatly appreciate using the add-on over the years but I do believe we deserve to know if the developer has completely stopped developing X-Notifier or finally lost all interest or if life happened and can no longer give it the attention it needs.

The AOL notifications have been broken for months and again if it's not going to be fixed I am not complaining but I would like to know.

This add-on accesses our email credentials so if it is no longer getting security updates we need to know.

I know X-notifier Neo is there and appears to be getting regular updats but I do not like it as much as the original.

Thanks.

Are Gmail label notifications never going to be supported again?

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Using 4.2.21. The feature where X-notifier would ding when I received emails outside of my inbox (i.e. emails that go to my Amazon label and bypass the inbox) has not worked for many months. Yes, "notify inbox only" is unchecked. Am I missing a critical update or has a new extension been created that I should be using?

X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I have started getting messages saying I have an email in my Yahoo account, but when I click on it, no new email has arrived. It will also say there are 2 emails, when there are only one. I am running  NEO X-Notifier  on firefox.

Stopped Working On FireFox For Yahoo!

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello to all.

The last 2x days the Extension (Version 4.2.21) has stopped to working for Yahoo properly!
It seems Yahoo something changed again and the extention not works full.

I have 7x diferent Yahoo mails and some times the extention works only for 3x SPECIFIC ones.

Some other time for only 2x specific ones again and some times for none!

Always i use latest FireFox version and even with the today new 91.0 version same issue!

Previously the extention worked like a charm and for long time!

Can anyone please to check what they changed and to fix this current issue?

Thanks for your attention and for your efforts so much!

Best Regards

Hi, Extension X-notifier (for Gmail™, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL...) for Google Chrome was working great until yesterday, but now all my Yahoo email accounts cannot be signed in and not checking (clicking on it just open Yahoo page). Gmail is OK. Using latest Google Chrome and MacBook Air 2019 year, latest Big Sur.

live.com/ hotmail.com stopped working.

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Yesterday X-notifier 4.2.21 stopped working with live.com/ hotmail.com.  It tries to check the email accounts but does not succeed leaving no icon to the left of the account in the X-notifier menu. I can login manually to these email accounts & I do not see any additional prompts (recovery email confirmations, privacy policy updates, etc).  I'm using Firefox 90.0.2.

Thanks!

Stopped Working for Aol/Netscape

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Chrome extension stopped working for AOL/Aim/Netscape.  I have two different mailboxes.  XNotifier no longer retrieves notifications from either one.  Clicking on the name of either will take me to the mailbox of whichever one I've most recently (manually) signed into.  It's been a few days now....

New mail counter is incorrect in Chrome

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hi

The counter that shows the # of new emails is incorrect.

I refreshed the status several times, but when I have 5 new emails from the same email address and 1 from another, the conter icon only shows 2!

Seems to be a bug when you have multiply emails from the same emal address.

If you need I can send screenshut or video.
