I have started getting messages saying I have an email in my Yahoo account, but when I click on it, no new email has arrived. It will also say there are 2 emails, when there are only one. I am running NEO X-Notifier on firefox.
Yahoo mail is always screwed up. Somtimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My XN on Chrome said I had 43 messages on Yahoo overnight, and when I checked, there were indeed 43, but they went back a month, so it hadn't been checking it properly for that long. I just took it off and check Yahoo by hand once a week now.
