X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Gmail script is still not working. I reinstalled the extension hoping that the new version would fix the issues of version 4.2.10 but nothing has changed. Either unread count is wrong (including all tabs, not only primary, but the total is still wrong) or the account stays red. I use this extension on both OSX and Windows 10, and on both computers only the default account signs in and other 7 gmail accounts stay red.

Is it posible for someone to make one?

X-notifier 4.2.10 for Gmail accounts  not always working with Chrome Browser but no problem working with Gmail for X-notifier 4.2.10 Firefox this a off and on situation going on with Chrome Browser.

When you have more than 25 emails on Gmail, the Gmail script number counter adds +130 emails to the counter.

So if I have 26 real emails, the Gmail counter will show me 156 emails and it freezes to 156.

I can offer my solution for Gmail Primary Inbox Only notification, but choose to do so by adding a separate (renamed) Gmail script. Because I don't want to cause a conflict with the XN package included Gmail script... for certain XN users.

This one is named GmailX. After download:

1. Add the GmailX script at X-notifier Options by clicking the Scripts button
2. Uncheck the checkbox of all your Gmail accounts presently in your X-notifier list (the 2 scripts cannot function simultaneously)
3. Select your default Gmail account - Select the GmailX script from the Scripts dropdown and Add it. It will show at the bottom of the XN account list. You can move it up in order to keep things tidy.
4. Click the Save button
5. You can add your other Gmail accounts the same way.

Once tobwithu offers his Gmail solution, you can easily readdress it (by rearranging the checkboxes in the accounts list) and delete the GmailX script. (This will delete all GmailX configured XN accounts)

Since the latest update, X-notifier got trouble accessing my work and private mail addresses at gmail via my google account credentials, and when it manages to connect and check either of them it counts promotions and social tabs too.

That by itself wouldn't be that big of a problem, but apparently something makes all google services to sign me off every time X-notifier trying to check on my mails.

For example my YouTube account gets constantly signed off and asking me to log back in.

It took me a while to figure out the correlation between the odd behavior of YouTube with X-Notifier but since I disabled the plugin in firefox YouTube remains signed in as it should.

firefox on my pc automatically updated (to v65.0) a couple of days ago. since then the x-notifier couldn't check my gmails anymore (several accounts, all entires showed red).  when i clicked on one of them to open in firefox, it went to gmail login page.

so far i tried following but none has worked:

- cleared the firefox cache

- rebooted pc

- revert the x-notifier to previous version

- revert firefox to previous version

- re-entered all passwords for the gmail accounts

it can still check the gmail account that i currently logged into.  it still checks yahoo emails, just problem with gmails.

anybody has any suggestions?  i am running out of ideas.

Anyone know which is the last version of Firefox and Firefox ESR which still works with XN 3.5.26

After last update social + Promotions tabs emails are showing. how to disabled those notifications?

I am using 4.2.10 version on Firefox and constantly I am recieving fake notifications of received mail on all gmail accounts.

How can this be solved?
