Since last update Ive been seeing the junk advertisement emails (Social, Promotions) show up in my notifications. Before it was just what was only in my actual inbox.
I have many email accounts which includes GMAIL, YAHOO, HOTMAIL, XFINITY along with FACEBOOK and LinkedIN. Can someone tell me what the link would be if I want to launch those specific sites which starts a new session so I can add the user/pass for that account? I just cannot figure out what I need to place in the URL if I have logged into a GMAIL or another account, I close that tab and try to get tinto another MAIl account so I can get prompted for the new user/pass.
Just noting for forum that the latest Mozilla Thunderbird mail client, version 60.3.3, disables older addons, like X-Notifier 3.5.23. Perhaps someday, the Thunderbird group will update it enough that XN 4.x could be used. See... https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2018/07/17/the-new-thunderbird-add-ons-…
Hey guys, I'm hoping SOMEONE can help me here. I've been using X-notifier for years and have never had this issue.
Long story short, X-notifier logs out of my hotmail account in what I think is the same time every day. I don't delete cookies, I can access hotmail without logging in through x-notifier. However, X-notifier, it's as if it deletes the login every day . It only started this maybe 6-8 months ago and has never fixed itself. Again, if I just go to my hotmail account through Chrome I do not need to log in. But, every day at a certain time, I have to relogin through x-notifier if I want that plugin to continue looking for new emails.
Beginning in Chrome 70, users have the ability to restrict extension host access to a custom list of sites, or to configure extensions to require a click to gain access to the current page.
You should allow X-notifier to read and to change site data on all sites.
(Right Click X-notifier icon -> This can read and change site data -> On all sites)
