X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Cannot create log

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I've followed the steps to create a log file that were posted in the User Guide section, but cannot generate a log file to download.

I am able to enable and disable Log, but clicking on Log does not generate a file (or I cannot find it). Am I supposed to look in a certain directory? Should a save file prompt appear?

EDIT: Working! I didn't do anything different or change anything intentionally. It simply worked this time. If anyone else is having this problem, I'd suggest trying to export your accounts, reinstall x-notifier, and import your accounts. Maybe a restart of Chrome and your computer as well. It might do something.

Would it be possible to add a toggle (checkbox) in gmail's setting that would enable the user to select STANDARD or BASIC HTML ?

No notification of new messages in Gmail account inbox

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

It seems to start malfunctioning after udpating Chrome to version 47.0.2526.106 m

X-notifier notifies spam folder messages though.

Edit:

Issue confirmed.

Under another Chrome profile, another gmail account and google account user, X- notifier isn't handling Inbox correctly. Yet spam folder is selected to be notified and it's working well. Very odd.

Gmail migrates to Inbox

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello,

I have a Gmail account that migrates to Inbox, and now, I can't get the unread messages since one week.

Is there a new version in progress?

Do I have to do something in order to get it working another way?

Kind Regards,

Exchange and Hotmail/Outlook.com not working in Chrome

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hi,

I recently switched from FF to Chrome.

When trying to setup my Exchange and Hotmail/Outlook.com accounts, I followed the same approach as on FF.

For Hotmail/Outlook.com I used the available Hotmail settings.  For Exchange, I downloaded and installed the Office365 script.

X-Notifier doesn't alert/display when new mail arrives for these two account types (it works fine with Yahoo and Gmail).  If I click on the X-Notifier icon and then click the Office365 or Hotmail account, I get logged in without a problem, so I am guessing there's something that needs to be fixed regarding the new mail counters.

Could you kindly check this situation, thanks.
