Lack of support, communications from dev.

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I've been a long time user of x-notifier (both neo and the old version) and it has been working well until recently, however I've seen a number of reports here and elsewhere regarding hotmail/outlook transistion that has broken the extension.  And there have been no replies indicating these are being looked into or actioned.

I'm not expecting an instant fix but I'd like to know if the fault is being addressed?

Thanks.

Problem with Hotmail on Chrome--present but not functioning

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I have installed x-notifier 3.5.21 from the Chrome Web Store in both Chrome and Opera. On Opera Hotmail main account works: new mail signalled when arriving. On Chrome that same Hotmail account is either red or faded and does not poll for new mail or notify when new mail arrives. Why does the Chrome x-notifier work as designed on Opera, but not on Chrome ?

I have worked around the problem by setting up forwarding from the secondary Hotmail and Yahoo accounts to the primary account for each. This was not necessary on Firefox. The port to Chrome is inferior to the original Firefox add on. On Chrome I needed to remove the secondary Hotmail account to restore functionality for the main account. This was not necessary on Opera.

Version 50.0.2661.102 m (64-bit)

Google Chrome is up to date.

X-notifier (for Gmail™,Hotmail,Yahoo,AOL...) 3.5.21 installed

Version : 37.0.2178.43 - Opera is up to date

One gmail account stays in red

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I have 2 Gmail accounts and 1 Yahoo mail account being checked by X-notifier. For a long time now (months), one of my Gmail accounts has been in red. The other 2 email accounts are good.

A long time ago I'd seen this problem but it self-corrected when X-notifier updated. But then it re-appeared (and affected a different Gmail account iirc).

I have uninstalled the app, restarted Chrome, downloaded a fresh copy of X-notifier and imported my files, but the same Gmail account stays in red. The other Gmail account and the Yahoo email account still work fine.

I have confirmed my UID and password for this Gmail account but it still stays in red on X-notifier.

Windows 10 x64 Pro.

Google Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 m (64-bit) is up to date.
