Latest update (4.1.3) grey out all GMail accounts on Chromium

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

My XNotifier got updated somewhere last week or so ago on my (Google) chromium web browser. Since then, all my GMail accounts become grey out eventhough some still show number of new emails. To make this worse, the pop-up message indicates number of GMail accounts have new e-mails, but nothing happens when I click any of the GMail account shown on the pop-up message. To this date, in order to read the new mails on any GMail accounts, I have to manually click the XNotifier and then click the grey out GMail account which indicates new incoming emails. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Glitch with 4.1.3 after update to FF 55.0

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Everything was working fine once I updated to 4.1, but as soon as FF updated to v55.0, it was showing Yahoo red again. Strangely enough, when I click on the red Yahoo, it signs me in like normal.

Just reporting this. I hardly ever use Yahoo mail, so no problem really.

Hotmail, Outlook.com, Live.com, etc... block

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I just wanted to note a small anomaly that may block X-Notifier from checking Hotmail, Outlook.com, Live.com, and other associated domains email accounts...

I noticed the icons were not showing up for certain accounts in my X-Notifier drop-down account list (when you click the X-Notifier 4.x envelope icon)... which tends to indicate the accounts are not being checked properly.

So, on the X-Notifier drop-down list, I clicked the affected account(s) to open them in a new tab, logging me into my inbox for the account(s)... the first time, this worked just fine, no problem going directly to Inbox.  If I clicked X-Notifier's "Check Now", the account icon remained missing in the drop-down account list.

I found I had to click the account in the drop-down list and go into it, more than once... and on the second time I went into the account, Microsoft would finally display a prompt for me to verify that my secondary contact/recovery email or other information was correct.  I clicked the button to indicate the info was still current and it took me again into my inbox. And...

After that, X-Notifier started checking the account(s) properly again, and the icons were back.

So, if you have trouble with X-Notifier checking Hotmail, Outlook.com, Live.com, or other Microsoft related email accounts... be sure to be persistent and go into your webmail account in a new tab -more than once- to make sure you get any prompts from the email provider, which may be hanging up X-Notifier.

Facebook script serving X-notifier 4.x for Firefox

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I adapted the Facebook script for X-notifier vs 4.

It needs to get included (no external/custom scripts for the vs 4 WebExtensions add-on) and will be available when tobwithu agrees to include it. Otherwise I need to create a separate X-notifier 4.x that must get recreated every time tobwithu updates his tree.

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello,

I'm using Palemoon 27.4 and the X-notifier addon version 3.5.23 : All is working well except the gmail login. Is it possible for you to update this login for Gmail ?

Thanks again for your understanding and your hard work.

Best Regards.
