Hello

I have  X-notifier 3.5.23 working on Firefox ESR 52.7.0 (32-bits).

I have one account in Gmail script (2017-5-11), two in Hotmail script (2017-11-27) and four in Yahoo script (2017-7-31).

Of the four accounts on Yahoo three of them (shows old classic mail) works fine, but in one that has changed its appearance stoped to show notifications. Anybody knows what has happened and how to fix it?

Thanks

X-notifier 4.1.4 on Firefox 58.0.2 (Hotmail not working, but Gmail and Yahoo are working)

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I'm using X-notifier 4.1.4 (for multiple Gmail, Hotmail & Yahoo accounts) on Firefox 58.0.2.

These few weeks, my Hotmail accounts have not been working, although my Gmail accounts and Yahoo accounts are working.

When I click on my Hotmail accounts, it will bring up this page: https://outlook.live.com/owa/

I've cleared my cookies and cache and restarted browser but it has not helped.

Not keen to start a new Firefox profile.

Any advice? Help appreciated.

Regards.

Hotmail script not working anymore?

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Since today the Hotmail script has stopped working, maybe some Outlook's internal website update has broken it:

Basically the mail counter won't refresh.

Hotmail and 2-factor authentication

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Is it possible to use x-notifier with two hotmail accounts where one has 2-factor and the other doesn't? When x-notifier automatically checks for new mail, I always get the 2-factor prompt on my phone. I've tried manually logging in and ensured that the "I sign-in frequently" prompt is checked, but 2-factor keeps coming through when x-notifier checks.

XN 4.1.8 Chrome doing strange things

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I'm having a lot of trouble with XN right now, and I'm wondering if it's XN or Google

1) When I try to do a manual check, it signs me out of all my emails and then I'm forced to sign into all of them individually all over again.

2) When I try to check an individual gmail account from the drop-down menu, it takes me to another email, usually my default.

3) Gmail doesn't seem to be accepting the XN logins, as I always get the login page asking for my password.

Is it just me?

Yahoo of course

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Once again Yahoo has started the two stage two page log in that can't be used with x-notifier.

I have a yahoo.com.au and a y7mail.com account.

These are just fancy yahoo.com accounts that were created early on for Australians when the teamed with Channel 7. The settings for these two are the same as a standard yahoo.com setup for smtp etc.

Thunderbird & IMAP Authentication

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I am playing around with Thunderbird trying to get it to work and hit a brick wall....maybe some of you guys have run into this and know the fix.  I am trying to get GMAIL to work with IMAP.  Whichever of my GMAIL accounts I try to setup, it fails authenticaion using IMAp but works if I use POP.  I have POP and IMAP enabled in GMAIL, so I must be missing something in the setting or need to have a specific configuration.  I am using a portable vrsion of the latest Thunderbird and even dug up a version 10 that worked once and does not work now.

Any ideas?

X-Notifier 4 - 2 Suggestions

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello. I'm not sure who the admin is here but I'd like to suggest 2 things for next version of X-Notifier. First of all, sorry for my English since it's not my main language.

Number one and most important is that X-Notifier should have an option for not checking mail every single time the browser is opened. I use Firefox 57.0.4 and every single time I open the browser, X-Notifier tries to check my mails despite the fact that I've set the timer of all my accounts for "Check every 720 minutes" (12 hours). It's a little annoying not being able to stop the startup check and it consumes bandwidth a bit with every check. I have a slow pc so those of you who have overpowered pcs and internet shouldn't notice the difference I do. It would be awesome if a way to disable the startup check is implemented for next version or at least if X-Notifier obeyed the check intervail set by the user.

Second, not really important but easthetically it would be a blast, the option to change / personalize the icon of X-Notifier and the Progress Animation Icon. I'm a big fan of aesthetics and I'm already thinking in really cool ways I could make X-Notifier look more beautiful and fit with the rest of the browser, and I know many artists who would be glad to create different styles of icons and upload them on deviantART for example. That would be great!

Third, just to say a big Thank You! beacuse X-Notifier has really made my life simpler by checking all my accounts in just one step without having to manually log in and log out of every one of my Hotmail accounts. It was so time consuming back in the day!

I haven't checked X-Notifier Neo yet but I'd like to state that the current version of the normal X-Notifier 4.1.8 is working awesomely in the new Mozilla Firefox 57.0.4 which is my main browser. The only issue for the moment is the startup check.

Thank you again a a lot of greetings to whoever is behind this awesome plug-in!!!
