I installed FirefoxPortable 56.02 and noticed having to make a small change in the Facebook script in order to enable it again in X-notifier 3,x. So next update from the Scripts page will also be fit for X-notifier 3.x (and X-Notifier Reloaded).
Thank you for checking. I will download that verison and reconfigure a Firefox. There are some things I cannot do with the current versions that I keep an old verison of Cyberfox around still....but want to switch to firefox.
I fixed the login procedure. It is not perfect: you have to click Check Now twice (no, don't doubleclick: give some time in between).
New interface notifications (with option Notify inbox only unchecked): - Friend request (accept not found yet) - Watch Video - Marketplace - Groups
For the new interface I changed the Inbox count to the sum of (Personal) Messages + (Post) Notifications, corresponding to the number showing in the Facebook Browser Tab (the html header title). This makes more sense to me. To make this policy obvious to the user I renamed the X-notifier icon Facebook account mouseover text for these notifications to Inbox Messages and Inbox Notifications.
The updated script will be dated 2020-05-26. I will also inform here, when it landed on the Scripts page.

Do you recall which versiom of Firefox was the last version to accept addons?

I stopped using X-notifier 3.x, but you can try. It should still work, I guess...
Last pre-Quantum Firefox for X-notifier 3.x is Firefox vs 56.02.
