Hotmail New PREVIEW Accounts freezes

By Tr3b , 20 January 2016

Question to all that use Hotmail accounts and may have a soluton.

I have 5 Hotmail accounts and 3 have been switched to their new Preview, one has just recently been switched.  Each one of my Preview Accounts takes an extremely long time to populate the contents  on the screen (15-20secs) and about the same time when clicking on to open the mail message.  When that occours, the system is frozen.  I cannot even close the Mail tab to free up the system.

Two questions:

Hey jeroen. I have my sidebar

Hey jeroen. I have my sidebar open so I can check the accounts and I use the envelpe to OPEN the accounts with mail.  What I am trying to find out is if there is a way to check the accounts (Check Now) and open only certain accounts with the envelope.  In other words, I want to check my Hotmail accounts, but I do not want to automatically open them, I'd rather open them manually.

Already suspected what you were driving at...
No, the mentioned option is not account-specific.

You can do account-specific without open!

If you set input "1" on http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp/node/1052

and click on "how many email count" it will check once more time
and tell you how many new ones, not host address, if you click on host address, it will open email.

That if I understood Tr3b and jeroen's comments, Smile.

I looked at all those options

I looked at all those options before.  I want to check the accounts but not automaticaaly open them with the rest of the other accounts.  We almost need a another option like "Check - Don't Open"

account-specific

That would be the result of making iconLeftClick (: 1) account-specific.
When implemented correctly it could even co-exist with the global iconLeftClick, meaning the global iconLeftClick then defines the default behavior.

So when you really want this you should post the feature request... and pray...

@CFBancroft: No

Tr3b wants the (global) envelope-icon-click to open only his (default) iconLeftClick : 0 accounts. He needs it to be account-specific.
