Hi, apologies in advance if this is somewhere in the settings, but I didn't find any way to change it. I just found X-notifier after Yahoo mail notifier stopped working for me. I'm amazed how X-notifier functions just the same, if not better and is regularly updated! However, after ~10 years of using YM notifier, I can't seem to adjust to using the left mouse button to open my mail when using the X-notifier tray button (I'm used to left mouse button forcing a mail check, and the middle mouse button opening the mail instead).

Yes! Is it possible to change the middle mouse button setting for this as well? I set my left mouse button to "Check Now" and want to set my middle mouse button to "Open All Accounts which has messages"

Left mouse button=Open All Accounts which has messages
Right(middle mouse button)=Check Now
USER CHANGE = 1 (CFB choose this method for my daily use.)

You can tell Mouse's System to assign middle mouse to Left? or Right? (pick only Firefox... NOT Global Settings)

I tried it, however the result is this:

For your (CheeseOnPizza) situation...
Maybe try...(system preferences=> Microsoft Mouse=> Add (Firefox) settings, THEN choose Buttons you change all setting see below)
Default Setting... at "1"
Left Button = Click = Check now
Right Button = (you pick anything i.e.)
Double-Click?, Forward?, Back?, Undo, and etc... (total about 30 choose from on Mac platform.)
(I let you look at, and choose it for best your situation.)
Wheel Button = Secondary Click = Open all accounts (I did test myself and give-up... see comment below.)
VERY, VERY, Imporant.... you set for Firefox setting... NOT GLOBAL settings!
So that way you will not cause confuse on Safari, Chrome, Opera, and other application program with MIDDLE button setting for Firefox with X-Notifier!
I did try test it ... long, long time ago ... What I read at internet's post/comments, it need to "Hack" on Microsoft's program to "trick". I decide not to fool around with program. I leave as is with left/right button without fool around with Wheel Button! If you learn something and let me know, I might do hack after you teach me some tricks! Smile.
FYI: my mouse 5 years old, I do NOT know if new version or upgrade that it will work? I let you play with it.
