Will you please make a one quick select button on the drop down menu or a complete silent mode setting to either disable all the sounds and/or notifications /or completely disable the email checking for the time being. It's frustrating to go through ALL of the emails by unchecking the boxes for eg. late night ASMR video watching, only to tick all the boxes again first thing in the morning. My head nearly explodes when an email notification ding smacks through my eardrums when I'm using headphones with max volume listening to ASMR just before going to bed, so I usually try to remember to go through the lenghty routine of disabling all my emails.
Otherwise a great addon and keep up the good work.
Is there any way to add the "Enable" option that the 3.x version of X-Notifier has to the 4.x version (for disabling/enabling the checking for new email)?
I often leave Firefox running, but disable email checks while I am connected to my work VPN. I don't want to be checking my personal email accounts while connected to my work's network.
Also, I have the browser running while I sleep, and I disable X-Notifier so that I am not awakened by the email notifications, but I can still get any other alerts from other applications.
Please consider adding this fuction back to X-Notifier if possible.
Xnotifier was really great before the Firefox WebExtension appocalypse when you could have completely seperate gmail accounts at the same time. Now having to combine all of them under a "master" account is less than ideal for many reasons...
It would be great if you could use Firefox's built-in container feature to keep accounts seperate in Xnotifier.
That way you wouldn't have to combine all Gmail accounts under 1 master account, and you could login to multiple accounts at the same time. Also another plus, you would be confusing Google because you would be like different people using different gmail accounts.
Containers are fully user configurable, so you could setup specific containers for Xnotifier like this add-on:
Hi, tobwithu. As helpful as x-notifier has been for me for a number of years now, there are times when it would be really helpful if I could see the passwords I've entered in the Options tab. Considering the complexity involved in accessing a blocked webmail account because of forgotten or incorrect passwords, this feature (quite common in password utility apps) would be a great help!
