I was wondering if there are any plans to bring the IMAP email login option to the chrome version. I have a university email address that I'd like to add to X-Notifier like I can in Firefox using the IMAP option. However this isn't available in chrome. It would be much appreciated if the dev could add this. Thanks and keep up the good work.
People, i have a problem to sign in to a multiple accounts on Gmail. I had to reinstall my browser, i use Chrome, and i have 3.5.6 X-Notifier version. I completed all the information of my accounts, but when i tried to open the different inbox of my accounts only open the default main account! Someone knows how to resolve this problem?
It might seem strange to start a thread for this reason, but today I noticed for me the facebook script is working and continued to work for notifications in Opera Next (=Chrome).
On the X-Notifier website, when I click download button for "Chrome" on the home page it will go to "http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/cr/install.php" and then automatically forward to the homepage. The same happens if I click the "Save .crx file in your PC" link. I hope the issue gets resolved soon. Thank you.
When I go to check my emails, (Ihave all 4 email clients) the Gmail icon is always missing. I'm talking about the Xnotifier envelope next to the location bar. It has 4 email clients and 3 of them have their icon next to their name. Gmail doesn't. Makes me feel like it may not be working at times but I do still get mail so I must be missing something.
I use X-Notifier in Chrome with several accounts (2 from Yahoo, 1 from Hotmail, 3 of Gmail, 1 for Facebook, and 1 for Tumblr.) I've noticed that I can't stay logged on any of my Yahoo accounts for long. I can stay logged on while X-Notifier is dormant, but when it wakes up to check inboxes, (I have it at 10 minutes global), it will log me off without warning. It's very annoying, especially if I am in the middle of composing an email message.
Since X-notifier is a 3rd party extension not included in the chrome Webstore, users aren't notified of updates. It would be useful if there was a script/option to query the latest version of X-notifier from http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/history.php and return a notification if a newer version was found, so users would know to download it.
