After trying your extention 2 weeks ago, I started having spam sent from my yahoo accout every couple days. I removed the info from x-notifier and now it has stopped. what is going on?
I do not want the notification to dissapear (hide). I've unchecked the "auto hide" notification box, checked the "auto hide" notification box, restarted chrome, reinstalled xnotifier, rebooted the computer, etc. Still, I leave the "auto hide notifications" box UNchecked and the notifications will still always disappear in about 5-7 seconds.
I don't have this issue in firefox, they stay up until the mail is checked or I physically close the notification. On Chrome, however, not a chance..
Hello, this is not a question, but a testimony. I recently moved to Opera developper with the move from Opera to embed an ad blocker and with declared navigation speed improvement of more than 30%, I must say that I am moving away from Firefox.
I was glad to see that there is a version of x-notifier for Opera, and I must say that it was very straight forward to install the add on in Opera and export my accounts from x-notifier Firefox and import them in Opera.
I've been having this Gmail login issue for a while. Tried various methods as suggested in the forum and it's still not working. Only checks the default gmail account. Had to log out one of the gmail accounts and then check again. A bit annoying since I have to do so every time I launch Chrome or after the computer went into sleep mode.
Here's what I did so far:
1) export list, remove extension, install extension from Chrome Web Store, import list
2) remove all extensions and reinstall x-notifier
3) add gmail accounts manually after new install of x-notifier
I press the export button, and a new tab opens with a bunch of text on it. All I can do is save the page as a Web Archive. I try to import that, and I just get an empty X-Notifier page, with none of my email accounts.
Is this because I'm trying to go from Safari to Chrome?
