I love x-notifier but it keeps adding the number of email in my gmail inbox & spam together even though I have unchecked the box that says "include spam"
How secure is x-notifier is the event of my laptop being stolen. Is someone going to be able to read my email account logins and passwords out of x-notifier? I am aware that a master password is needed for x-notifier, but do the email passwords stored in x-notifier use strong encryption
I'm having serious issues with getting this to work. I keep getting the yahoo mail login page.
I already can login automatically because when I visit the mail.yahoo.com page I'm logged in without no login page (i.e. I get my inbox straight away) so my cookies are working (keep me signed in tick box).
I have tried completely removing all addons, uninstalling firefox ... running ccleaner and registry cleaner. Then re-installing firefox and finally reinstalling only x-notifier only to discover the problem still exists.
In Firefox 30, X-notifier wont check mails for hotmail. I got 3.4.2 and it started sins hotmail changed to the new stuff, I thought you was just slow with the update. it works on G-mail just fine and it have no problems with opening hotmail. if I hover on the icon I get "Hotmail : Not controlled." Tried on a new computer with fresh installed firefox, same problem. If I try to get the "xn-firefox.log" it's empty.
I am using X-notifier 3.4.2 with Firefox 30 and there I am having a strange behavior:
I created the checker for a gmail-account, setting the option "check only inbox" to false. When checking mails I get 8 new mails but there aren't any. Neither in inbox nor in any label or folder. When I set the option to true, I get 0 new mails even if there is one new mail in my inbox.
I tried to toggle the "also spam" and "show label" settings, but I am still getting the same result.
I've no idea why it doesn't work over here. I have tried removing my Hotmail account then re-adding it, but it didn't help. Hotmail is just grayed out and it never reports new e-mail in the inbox...
Anything I can do to help in resolving this issue?
