Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

All I see online for Chrome is 4.2.16, but I see 4.2.17.1 is out, which I assume fixes the Yahoo mail problem that started this week.

Where can I download this version for Chrome browser?  Thanks

X notifier does not log in to my second gmail account

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I have 2 gmail accounts. Until now, X-notifier could log in and check both accounts at the same time. Now this is impossible. I have to log out from one account, and log in manually to the other.  And sometimes the x-notifier does not show that i have new unread  income mails. it shows zero new mails.... What can I do  to fix these ?

Hotmail messed up all over again and Gmail staying red

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I've continued to have problems after the recent update with hotmail where it would only directly load one account. My other account I would have to login each and every time. As of this morning though after the Firefox update Hotmail is all kinda messed up. If I load the account the I don't have to login to each time the email is there then a white page then the email then a white page. This happens so fast I can't even open an email. It does this for random sequences of flashing the email then the white page. Sometimes it will stop and finally allow me to go through my mail other times it does. If I'm lucky it will stay on the page and not do this flashing and I can actually check my email. More not then so though.

My secondary Hotmail account is still asking for login details each time I click it along with it too doing the flashing from email page to white screen to email page..... Also this secondary account hardly stays logged in. I may get lucky and be able to check one email but once I delete said email or click inbox it will be asking me to login again.

Also Gmail is now staying red and requiring login each time. Not to mention it too will barely let you check any mail then tell you to sign in again.

I've removed xnotifier and reinstalled the newest version to no avail. Same issues remain above remain.

X-NOTIFIER is WORKING on New CHROMIUM-based MICROSOFT EDGE :-)

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Just FYI...  The New EDGE browser is a lot like Google's Chrome (because MS is abandoning the Old Edge), and based on 'chromium' now.

Microsoft scheduled to release chromium-based Edge browser January 15, 2020... for multiple platforms... Windows, iOS, Android, Mac, etc.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/microsoft-e2-80-99s-edge-chromium-browser-will-launch-on-january-15th-with-a-new-logo/ar-AAJODn6

I'm running the release candidate... it is quick, similar to Google's Chrome, and I am writing this forum post after clicking the "XN-forums" account in X-Notifier running in Edge.  You can add Chrome Webstore apps to this new Edge, after you enable "other stores", besides Microsoft Store. Go to Chrome Webstore, search for X-Notifier... both X-N and Neo will show up. Select version, and click "Add to Chrome", then import your accounts.  If you have trouble with that, try going to this page to load into new Edge: http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp

So far, so good.  X-Notifier is now in the Microsoft browser universe.
Microsoft wants to use this chromium-based version of Edge to help transition corporate IE users away from Internet Explorer.
X-Notifier, with custom scripts... is gaining a larger market!

AS OF 11-12-19 Hotmail on Firefox is BROKE AGAIN PLEASE FIX

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

UPDATED POST ONGOING ISSUE AS OF 11-12-19 Old problem was fixed for a day or two but it has been back and ongoing as reported by several users. FYI Title has capitalized words for attention and not yelling. Just want to get that out there. lol

So it was happeneing then it was fixed and a new version was released. Not a day later I believe and the same issue has started again. One account red one grayed out. (My case) If you enter one account by clicking it after a short while your logged out even though you can't see it. (My case anyway) Sometimes clicking one acccount is opening the other account and vice versa. (Again my case) Several users below are reporting this is back again.

I've edited the title with the return issue date to maybe draw more attention that this is an ongoing problem again and not the old issue that was solved at the time.

Gmail changed log-in proceedure again?

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I think Gmail changed up how it works again.
The last couple days all XN shows is red... I have gone through all the usual checks, etc.
The odd part is every Gmail account I log into, will automaticly log itself back out... I thought it may be because XN was checking, but I disabled  XN and it still happens about a few minutes after a move away from the tab that Gmail is open.

As an example, I started writing an email, changed to another tab to get some info for that Email, come back to it and I'm logged out.
Log back in, open my draft, paste the info I had collected, moved back to another tab and the Gmail logs back out again...

I have removed all old Gmail cookies and logged back into 8 of my Gmail accounts.
So far everything is working normal again with Gmail.... Turned on XN and it checked SOME of the accounts; others still red.
Manually hit 'check now', and it took several minutes, but all accounts in NX are back to being black again.  So far; so good.

I will keep an eye on my accounts and update if I run into more issues...
