X-notifier closes Chrome while verifying the last account

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello !

Yesterday, I updated Google chrome to the latest version.

I have x-notifier set to verify at the startup and every 30 minutes.

today, I opened Chrome and x-notifier started verifying, as soon as it reaches the last account (because I have 5 accounts) Chrome closed and reran itself. I ran chrome more than twice to make sure and to know where the problem was. Finally, I disabled X-notifier and the problem disappeared.

any help to fix the problem with X-notifier?

Please Help! No Inbox! Safari!

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Please Help! I've looked everywhere! I can't get my Safari Inbox to show!

In the past, I've used X-Notifier on Firefox with great pleasure but a problem developed with one of my screen names (NOT X-Notifier's fault, it's a problem with Firefox!)

So, I decided to go Safari X-Notifier. Isuccesfully downloaded 3.3.2 for Safari for my MacBook Pro (OS 10.8 Mountain Lion). I can easily add AOL accounts by clicking on Safari-Preferences-Options link on the Safari extension but ONLY ONE PAGE OF OPTIONS COMES UP. That page allows me to add an account but, unlike the second page (called "General") on Firefox, I don't have too many choices regarding the inbox. "Notify Inbox" checks off automatically but NO INBOX IS VISIBLE. And, when I click on Safari-View-Show X-Notifier Inbox, a BLANK BAR appears at the top of my Safari Browser Screen.

Please help me see my accounts in my inbox.

Thanks!

Notified about one yahoo account but a different one has the new email.

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I have several Yahoo accounts and frequently and currently I get notified that a new email arrived at "yahoo account 1" but when I click on notification for "yahoo account 1"  a window with "yahoo account 2" shows with the new email. So to make sure that "yahoo account 1"  doesn't actually have new mail I log out of "yahoo account 2" and log in to "yahoo account 1" and see that there is no new email. Basically something is screwed up where Xnotifier tells me that there is new email in the wrong account. Any fix for this. I have seen this happen in Firefox and Chrome although I currently mostly use Chrome.

Next version of Opera uses chrome's API

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hello,

The next version of opera is based on chromium, and have (almost?) the same API. Tried the .crx version with Opera Next and it works fine (except some warnings) so there no much work to be done before it become ready.

I think this will reduce development efforts in the future.

<Resolved> Can I request a change for yahoo?

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

<Resolved> Spybot 2.1 was causing the Yahoo mail page to show errors.

<Original post> Recently Yahoo has been showing errors when accessing with or without X-notifier.

Network Error

Yahoo! Mail was unable to connect. Please reload the page or verify that your network connection is active.

But I have researched the problem and found a solution which also seems to make yahoo mail load much much quicker.

If you add this address http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail to X-notifier for checking yahoo mail It will speed up loading and will give the users yahoo mail which is what they want anyway. This is a mobile version of yahoo mail which doesnt include all the other crap that is shown on the regular yahoo mail page.

Just out of curiosity, where do you like most programming between Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera?
