Imported My Accounts But Not Syncing

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I've changed my laptops recently and exported all my accounts for Xnotifier. After importing them, the new add on Firefox version 47 doesn't sync the accounts. What's wrong?

AOL not working - solution found in Basic/Standard mode?

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Hi

As indicated by my posts in the last few months, Webmail had stopped working with both of my AOL accounts some time ago, no longer notifying me of new emails. I had tried both old and new versions of both the firefox browser and the extension itself, even added the AOL script to the old version, but nothing took.

Then a development happened. Through a bug that left one of my accounts in "standard" mode as opposed to the "basic" mode I have used for the last 15 years, the extension started notifying me of new emails once again. Curious, I changed both of my accounts to the standard mode, new email notifications started coming, and after changing one of them back to Basic, it stopped working again until changing it back to Standard.

So apparantly using the Basic version of AOL's mail page prevents notifications from being picked up? I don't know, but as long as it works again, I'm willing to put up with the eyesore look of the Standard page. So if this scenario is at all similar to any trouble you're experiencing with getting X-notifier to work with your AOL email account, give it a try.

How to stop X-notifier automatically adding multiple GMail accounts together?

In the latest version if you add more than 1 account to X-notifier, they all get combined in a messy way. see screenshot below:

What can I do to keep multiple accounts separate?

I can't receive AOL mail alerts.

X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I've got X Notifier on Chrome, which runs on Windows 7. On X Notifier I have my Yahoo and AOL accounts. Yahoo runs perfectly. However, AOL appears in red with no logo when I click on the X Notifier icon, while Yahoo has a logo and appears in blue. I was surprised to find that when I clicked on the red AOL, it took me to my AOL mail account, to which I was already logged in. I also had new mail which never registered with the icon badge as Yahoo mail does.

I know things are not right but I don't know what to change. I'm logged in properly, apparently, but it refuses to recognize new mail. What could be wrong?

Separation of sessions (cookies) for different addresses does not work

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Separation of sessions (cookies) for different mailboxes does not work. Windows 7, Firefox 61 (x64), x-notifier 4.2.3.

In the old version of x-notifier 3.5.23, the tab sessions were separated and the tab title was highlighted in underlined font. Previously, you could open different mailboxes of one mail service in different tabs. In version 4+, this does not work (triggered relogin).

Old x-notifier 3.5.23 used to work similarly to this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/ (new tab - new mail container)

Is it possible to return a similar functionality for the version of x-notifier 4+?

Outlook And Hotmail Emails Not Opening With X-Notifier 4.2.2

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

Outlook and Hotmail emails aren't opening up inside of Firefox web browser using X-Notifier 4.2.2 in order to view the emails you got to use Chrome web browser.

Clicking the notification in Chrome opens 3 tabs for one email account.

Forums
X-notifier for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (deprecated)

I'm using Chrome version 66.0.3359.181 on Windows 7 with the latest X-notifier 4.2.2.

When I get an email, the notification icon shows up, but when I click it, it opens three tabs of the same account. This amounts to six tabs total if I get emails for two of my email accounts.

This issue doesn't happen on my Surface, which uses Windows 10.

I've heard that this was an issue before?
