I've both an old hotmail.com account and a newer outlook.com, and the latest isn't checked after some updates microsoft pushed out recently.Hotmail account interface isn't changed and works as usual.

Your graphic links simply show Microsoft 'tiles' for starting Microsoft apps... Outlook.com, Contatti, Calendario, One Drive, Word, Excel, etc.
Guess I don't have those updates, since my X-Notifier seems to be working with outlook.com.
(Perhaps it's only the Italian version being updated.)

One of my Hotmail (Outlook) accounts has been switched to the preview version and X-Notifier is no longer able to check for new emails, although I can still use it to automatically log in to the account.
Developer needs account...
The developer, Tobwithu, has indicated he can work on it when he gets access to the new interface.
If someone wants to briefly share their account login info (to xndevel@gmail.com)... then it will probably happen faster than waiting for his accounts to be updated.

Been using for years. Every once in a while doesn'y work. But this time it's been very long. Is it going to be fixed? If not I'll just delete x-notifier, which I like very much.

My secondary Hotmail account (now 'Preview' version) is not polled. I can open it by clicking on the icon in x-notifier, but there is an intermediate page ("Almost There") and then the inbox. Earlier today I went through the security update steps with the account, but that just got me to the two step path to the inbox. I uninstalled x-notifier including the settings, reinstalled Firefox 39.0.3, reinstalled x-notifier and set up my 6 e mail accounts and there is no change . Check Now still reports that email account not checked. The icon for that account is not grayed out and clicking on it goes through the same two steps to the inbox.

I did send my REAL account to Tobwithu for review and update scripts.
When he is done... I will change to new password.

Im confused!
I'm confused, I thought the Outlook issue was fixed with the latest version 3.5.12.
I can still only check the new outlook email by clicking the email in X-notifier. It will not check it automatically, and a few of the options for the new outlook email are greyed out, such as Notify Inbox, Include Spam, and Show label.
Is my issue possibly unrelated? I have FF 40.0.2.

Redefine?
Perhaps you might need to delete that particular outlook account and redefine it... so that it refreshes with the new script and not old settings... perhaps.

No body give Tobwithu with *REAL* Outlook account since July 13, 2015! (almost one month)
BUT mine I got update *NEW* Outlook this morning, that not working with X-notifier!
So I send mine with REAL private personal email to him with new password.
Tobwithu can NOT access because different IP address in Korea.
Tobwithu request me to get security code for him.
I my primary hotmail send to other host (gmail) to open with security code, and send him with NUMBERS!
Tobwithu FIXED it with-in TWO hours!
I thanks to Tobwithu for update X-notifier,
and X-Notifier User thanks to ME for allow use my REAL account to Tobwithu!
In future, it is up to you if you trust Tobwithu with your REAL account!
So that way Tobwithu can process right away instead wait for one month!
