As we can see on the Scripts page (http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/scripts.php?page=1), QQ script was written by Tobwithu, the admin/developer of X-Notifier... so you should send your request to xndevel@gmail.com ...and he may need a 'test account' to fix it (or not).  So it might be faster if  you sent him a test account username and password to use for testing, to fix the problem.
Again, send to xndevel@gmail.com ...perhaps with script name in the subject line.

Are you sure?

Hi rock888,
Looking at the large number of QQ script downloads and your remark yours is not working for some months, I'm inclined to conclude the QQ script is only failing in your setup. Otherwise we would expect more people complaining here over the past months. There might f.i. be a conflict with another installed addon. So, when you didn't already, my advice would be to follow this troubleshooting post first:

POP3 server

That post is fr0m someone not understanding the difference in mail servers.

POP3 and IMAP protocol mailservers (pop3.qq.com / imap.qq.com) are addressed by mail clients (like MS Outlook) to download the mail from the mail provider to your computer. They have no relation with a webmail server (mail.qq.com) addressed in web browsers, other than they access the same mail. The passwords to make connection with either mail server can be different when the provider requires so and (of course) always are user-defined.

Troubleshooting is good ;)...

I agree with Jeroen... I hadn't thought to recommend troubleshooting first.

It can't hurt...
....and Jeroen's right, there's not a flood of people (yet) complaining on the script.
(It's not unusual for a couple/few people to have a glitch on same script... and not be the script's fault.)

OK, I tested as suggested

OK, I tested as suggested above. I created a new firefox profile and installed QQ script. It didn't work. I also tested pop3 and imap, no luck either. I am sure I enabled pop3 and imap within QQ mail account. Any clue? Thanks.

Blocked?

Is there anywhere else, any other app that you can use to login to QQ ?  (to verify your QQ account is working).

First things first...

Can you go to your webmail, meaning mail.qq.com, and login using your @qq.com (or @foxmail.com ?) email address and your original password? That is what the XN QQ script is replicating!

And in respect of the other user's post (raydead):
Do you have a seperate password for pop3/imap, to be used for mail clients using the pop3/imap.qq.com server? And did you also try to use that other password to login to your webmail (mail.qq.com)?

I can log on mail.qq.com

I can log on mail.qq.com webmail on different web browsers on both windows and mac.

Well...

Then the script should work with the same username/password.

I did start to sign up for an account myself, but then found I have to get the QQ ID first, meaning downloading the software from Torcent, etc..
I inspected the loginpage html and see the login form of that page uses other input names for user/password than the XN script (u and p instead of uin and pwd), but that also can mean there is a redirect page that copies those u and p values to the uin and pwd input names...

We cannot check more without a test account. So, still being surprised there aren't more complaints, the developer needs a test account, when he doesn't have one already. Or perhaps you could give him your own account after temporarily changing your password?

I updated the script.

However, QQ mail will ask to enter captcha code everytime you login.

I could not find a way to bypass this.
