Hey there,

since yesterday x-notifier don´t work with firefox (32.0.3) -

is it possible to update the script or I´m the only one with this problem?

What can I do then?

Your comment should be alike...

Do you (Tobwithu) want me to create test account for example...

xnotifier@web.de ? (yes or no)

And let Tobwithu respond... he might said yes and need test account...

Instead of say I have problem too, I have problem too, it do not helpful.

Tobwith might care a little bit ;)...  if the feedback just provides some indication of how many people are having the problem.

But we understand what you're saying... that when there's a problem suffered by several users, some user needs to step forward and PROVIDE a test account (username and password) to the developer at xndevel@gmail.com so that he can test and fix the problem. (Make a new/test account if you don't want to provide your own account... in any case, you can change password after script is fixed.)

However, sometimes it's just a glitch/corruption or other problem the user needs to fix on their own system... and the forum is a good place to discuss it to find a fix when there's actually nothing wrong with the add-on or scripts... so it helps to know how many have a problem (the same problem), and also.... how many can still get notifications ...if the script is -still- working for anyone else, someone needs to post that information.

Remember though...  it can be more helpful, easier to verify, and FASTER TO GET A FIX, if one of the users would provide a TEST Account so the developer can see and fix script problems, since he may not have an account at every provider.

  1. I just wanted to confirm the issue is not an individual installation problem.
  2. Since I witnessed updates of this script by the developer earlier, I gathered he already has a test account. But of course I can be wrong (I was still on 1.)
  3. Could we address issues in a more relaxed tone of voice please? It is like some of us think the whole world out there is stupid...

so that way other reader (XN user) learning something new,
and I hope they give Tobwithu with test account.
