I have been having a problem for a while now ( with this indespensible extension!). I get notified of a new email, go and read it (now marked as read), move it to a folder where it then shows as being unread(the Firefow tab doesn't indicate any unread emails but the folder in Hotmail does). If another email is received the Firefox tab then shows an unread email but it doesn't appear in the inbox. I need to close the tab and re-open Hotmail for it to appear in the inbox.
The extension is still very much usable, I just need to close the tab as soon as an email is read/dealt with.
Refresh?
1) Looks like moving a read email to a new folder causes it to be 'new' in that folder. (as I tested it)
2) Have you tried refreshing (reloading) the tab instead of closing it? Just press F5 (if hotmail is the active/displayed tab) or right-click on the tab and click 'Reload tab'. Works for me. Hotmail may eventually refresh itself but I have no idea how long that takes (what the refresh interval is for Hotmail).
