I switched my mail from Google server (GoogleApps) to my personal mail server based on Postfix+Dovecot (with help of iRedMail). I filled new settings in X-Notifier. When I try to check new mails through IMAP, it doesn't check. My IMAP server has STARTLS auth (143 port). I tried to specify this in X-Notifier settings (mail.myserver.com:143) but it also doesn't work. How to make X-Notifier to check my mail on new mail server?

Can you check your IMAP mail using any other mail clients... like Thunderbird?

I use Thunderbird as mail
I use Thunderbird as mail client and everything is ok. I use STARTLS and port 143. I also had to import untrusted certificate (my own self-signed) from server when connected first time.

I have no idea, but wonder if FF needs to import that untrusted certificate somehow.
X-Notifier for Firefox works in Thunderbird too (and Sea Monkey).
