X-notifier 4.0.3, clic en icono muestra solo recuadro en blanco ¿? (Solved)

By BooMeranGz , 6 July 2017

Hola,

Hi

Recovering accounts is no problem, I have backup.

The problem is that I install version 4.0.3, and once the accounts are configured. I get a blank box, like the one I show here:
http://vimak.com//.varios/x-notifier/X-Notifier.jpg

I have tried NOT to import anything, and set up the accounts by hand, but still with the same error.

"Save"?

Just to be sure you're not missing anything...

When you define your accounts... do you scroll down to the bottom of the Options screen and click the "Save" button when you're finished with definitions?

This is different from the older 3.x version, where the "OK" button was always visible at bottom of Options window.

"Save"? yes...

Of course I use "save". The problem is another.

I updated Firefox to version 54.0.1 (x32).
I deleted X-Notifier from my add-ons.
I clean cookies, cache, history, etc., etc.
I rebooted Firefox.
I installed X-Notifier 4.0.3 again.

When I make the first click, the menu appears:
http://vimak.com//.varios/x-notifier/x1.jpg

When I click the second button, it does not appear anymore (and I have not yet added an account)
http://vimak.com//.varios/x-notifier/x2.jpg

Does this add-on need JAVA or something else?

Okay. I know what happens.

Okay. I know what happens. This have problems with the following add-on:
"-100% + Zoom Page"

Could it be determined that this incompatibility is due?

No problem for me...

I installed the Zoom Page addon on FF 54.0.1 (64bit) with X-Notifier 4.0.3, and I have 9 accounts defined besides the XN-forums and XN-scripts... I zoomed a webpage up and down a few times... and then everytime I click the X-Notifier envelope icon, I get the drop-down menu showing my accounts, etc.

32 vs 64 bits ¿?

It may be because you use the 64-bit version. I use the 32, surely the problem is there.

I don't know

In my opinion, it's unlikely... I've never seen a problem caused that way.
Sometimes, it can make a difference in what order you install addons... so you might try removing Zoom Page and reinstalling it.  Or removing both and installing them in different order.
I guess you're saying that without Zoom Page loaded (or with it disabled) that X-Notifier works properly?

It can be possible.

It can be possible.

I uninstalled the two. I installed X-Notifier and then Zoom Page (with the respective Firefox restarts) and now everything seems to work fine.

Thanks anyway.
