X-Notifier 4.x is a work in progress, because FF 50+ is a work in progress. EXPORT your accounts. Stick with X-N 3.5.23 as long as you can ...or... use the latest X-N4.02 for FF 50+ (Firefox 50+ is changing their software engine... forcing massive chages such that X-Notifier 4.x can no longer support POP3/IMAP or custom scripts.) To move to X-Notifier version 4.x (on FF 50+) ...you have to Export your account from within X-Notifier 3.x, then Import the backup in X-N 4.x (but you will lose any POP3/IMAP or custom script accounts). Firefox 49.x and X-Notifier 3.5.23 is the most stable and feature-rich combination.
Yea this new version no offense to the creators but it's terrible. Dumped all email accounts. Now it doesn't like two Outlook/hotmail accounts. One of mine is always grayed out. No more right click it's now left click to view which account has what email. No ability to just click the envelope to open email accounts. They have to each be clicked on manually.
Is there a way to run the older version with newest FF or are we stuck with this version on the newest FF? This version of FF seems to be faster then the last so If we only have one or the other it's a hard pick on which problem to deal with. A slower FF or a streamlined and working properly x-notifier. LOL
