Vkontakte and Twitter supporting X-notifier scripts?

Are Vkontakte and Twitter still supporting X-notifier scripts? Or: is X-notifier adapted to the new (?) safety protocol of Vkontakte and Twitter after the recent hacks? —Thanks!
What I mean is: since about a week the script twitter.js appears not to work any more, and vkontakte.ru.js... I never got it functioning. Or is it that I do something wrong?

My twitter account is still being checked and I'm using the three year old script.
