Just my luck

I got WinXP and Opera.

I created my first mail.com email account yesterday.  Can't get X-notifier to work with it.

Mail.com offered dozens of email domains.  I chose "arctic.com" as the domain for my email address because of my cold, cold heart.

Best luck,

mail.com broken

I have the same problem since a couple of weeks.

I see a message: "mail.com: not checked" in red, when I hover my mouse over the X-notifier icon in Firefox (45.0.1)

Account sent

Mail.com has made changes to their website... when I use Chrome to try to login with X-Notifier, I get lines of dumb text (instead of a properly rendered webpage) and a note to enable JavaScript.
Javascript is already enabled.  If I go to mail.com website, it is rendered correctly.
Mail.com is pushing Firefox 45 with a banner note at top of its main webpage.
Today, I have sent a test account login username and password to Tobwithu for his use in trying to fix the script.

I don't know when he'll have time... I haven't conversed with him in a while, I've just seen a recent update to the Scripts page for the mailbox.org script on 3/31/16.

Looks good here

Thanks Tobwithu and everybody.  It's working smooth as silk.

In the X-notifier Options, I used the whole email address ("example@arctic.com") as my username.  It worked right away.

I set the username & password.  I didn't find any checkboxes that needed to be changed.  Then I clicked on "Add" and then "Save."  Then I "exported" a new chrome.xn.

It's so interesting to see a complex digital communications system working.

Thanks again,

-n-

Junk during login from mail.com

mail.com script is working fine for me... except when mail.com screws with the regular login procedure... then I'll see lines of text instead of a properly rendered webpage.

Recently, mail.com forced a prompt to verify my emergency contact address... then after I updated that (still same address), they prompted me to become a Premium member... I just clicked the -extremely- small text/link that said, 'No thanks, continue to mail.com'. After I answered those prompts, then X-Notifier could take me to my inbox normally.

So if you try to use X-Notifier to go to your mail.com account... and get a badly rendered webpage... then open a new tab and manually go to mail.com and manually login and see if you have any such dumb prompts interfering ...and answer them.

mine work

I have three mail.com accounts, all appear to work fine with latest script in FF.
Login manually... open a new tab, go to mail.com and login to see if there are any prompts that are interfering with access to inbox, etc.
You could delete the script, restart browser, and re-add it... you'll have to redefine accounts.
