I've been using XNotifier for a while, and notice that every so often, there is an update required to handle changes to Google's 2-step verification system. I'm on the latest release (3.3.9), and while the 2-step verify does work, it's prompting me for a new code every 12-24 hours, which is getting a bit maddening (especially when I get a text in the middle of the night).
Recently I noticed that my Yahoo account was no longer being checked. When I manually clicked on the Yahoo entry, I was redirected to a page created by our security team that indicated that the link was a phishing site. What link is the Yahoo entry using? Can this be fixed? If I can show that this is a valid link to Yahoo's email to our security team, I can probably get it excluded, but right now I have no way of determing what site it is actually going to.
Hi, since few weeks X-NOTIFIER doesnot refresh mail counters.
When I open firefox, it's scanning and indicating correctly numbers of mail in each box, but it does not recalculate automatically when I have read a mail or if I receive one.
I made lots of checking (cookies, cache, reinstal, updates ...)
Just recently, when I click on an email address in the X-notifier bar, a new tab opens but instead of my email page I get ASK.com search page. Can anyone help please?
X-Notifier is unable to check emails in Yandex.com. This just happened recently - maybe starting Nov. 18th. It looks like the same thing that happened with gmail recently.
This is a bit off topic (not FF related), but I wanted to know which email mobile app you use to best manage your emails?
Using x-notifier on FF really saves time, then all you need to do is click on the x-notifier updates and you land on the online email service, which is great. But unless proven wrong, x-notifier is not available in a mobile way (iOS, Android)
Works great. I love it but if I let the emails sit in my hotmail account they end up no longer in bold type as if they have been read and I tend to ignore them. Is this just me or ...?
