Is there a way to hide the new "Bookmark this page(X-Notifier)" item from the context menu?

Greetings

I use X-Notifier 3.3.2.
Is there a way not to show the new "Bookmark this page (X-notifier)" item from the context menu?
Is there an about:config preference?

If not, I'd like to make the suggestion please to add an option to show it or hide it.

Thank you

There is no option for it.
I will think about it.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.
I really appreciate it.

Hello, what is the purpose of : "Bookmark this page (X-notifier)" item in the context menu?

I don't understand why it's there in my Mozila Firefox  21. 0 ... what is it's purpose??

I prefer only the Firefox default "Bookmark this page" to show.

Can you kindly let me know?

Thank you very much.

Somebody ask Tobwithu to make bookmark to open mobile html

CFBancroft explain more...

Tobwithu make other options "much better" than "Bookmark this page (X-notifier)"

Right now Tobwithu is thinking to remove "Bookmark this page (X-notifier)"
because of...
'extensions.xnotifier.accounts.[yahoo#YOUR_ID].link'
is improving.

Three choice
Remove
or
Hidden Options
or
leave as is

extensions.xnotifier.showBookmarkMenu : true (default)
toggle X-notifier bookmark menu

If you change to false,
you need to restart Firefox to change,
it will not show anymore.

No place in About:Config shows: ""extensions.xnotifier.showBookmarkMenu""
No place in About:Config shows: ""X-notifier bookmark menu""

That string does not show anywhere... it does not appear anywhere.

Are you using version 3.3.3 of X-Notifier for Firefox?

In Firefox, I opened some webpages from X-Notifier accounts, right-clicked on page, and there was the "Bookmark This Page (X-notifier)" option in the pop-up menu...

Next, I opened a new tab and typed in the address box:   about:config   ...then, at the top of the about:config page, to search, I typed:  xnotifier  ...pressed 'Enter', and scrolled down to the bottom, found the key:   extensions.xnotifier.showBookmarkMenu   ...and double-clicked it, which changed the value to 'false'.  Then I closed, restarted Firefox, opened an account page via X-Notifier, right-clicked on the page, and there was -no- bookmark for X-Notifier option.

It does work.   You can view the version number of X-Notifier if you go to Firefox Add-ons, Extensions list and scroll to X-Notifier.

I just upgraded from ver. 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 ....  and now it (extensions.xnotifier.showBookmarkMenu) shows in the about:config hirearchy, must have been some kind of glitch in version 3.3.2 where it didn't show before.

I was able to change the value to 'false', now no more bookmark for X-Notifier option.

Thanks!

There was no showBookmarkMenu option in 3.3.2 or earlier.

It was created with version 3.3.3... as Tobwithu (author/admin) stated in his post above.
Good you've found it.
