Not working anymore for mail.com

WindowsVista  Firefox31  xNotifier 3.4.3

Stopped working for mail.com after Firefox upgrade from Firefox30 to Firefox31.

I receive no notification at all.

Please fix thankyou.

There is an updated mail.com script. See the Scripts link at the very top of this webpage.

Thankyou but not work.
--I renamed the new script to mail.com(2014)
--I kept the old script too.
--Restart firefox.
Not work.
--Clicked "Check Now" and it doesn't work.
The email url is still red and says ":not checked" in the tooltip.

Must I delete the old script for it to work?
What else do I do to get it working ?
Thankyou.

Well... I'll have to assume that you redefined new mail.com accounts using the mail.com(2014) script... (and didn't work).

What I did was delete my mail.com accounts from X-Notifier, Options, Accounts... then I deleted (all) mail.com script(s) from Options, [Scripts]... then I restarted my browser... then I added the new script to X-Notifier, Options, Scripts... then I redefined my mail.com accounts with the new script.   (My accounts probably got confused with Mail.com forcing password changes on me, so I had to delete them all to clear everything up and start fresh.)  The new mail.com script does work fine for me now.

Good luck.

Thankyou for info RpD

So I removed the previous mail.com script, and it seems to be working correctly again now.

So glad thankyou.

???But why is it that sometimes the notification adds (+1)  like this: myemail@mail.com 1(+1)

This forum is not userfriendly, it is the most difficult forum I have ever posted at, causing distress. Have to fill out  Captcha just to post a question. Should not have to do that if you have already posted posts. Also, I tried to post a screenshot to demonstrate problem, and the forum refused to accept it stating that it triggered Spam Filter.

So I tried to set it in code tags.

I believe the (+1) notations indicate the new mail since the last check... an attempt to show the latest new traffic, if you haven't picked up new mail for a while.

I seriously doubt your Captcha problem is related to the X-Notifier forum(s)... I've never had a Captcha for the forum, but I have had Captcha on other accounts, which are checked periodically, continuously, in the background.

The forum software/server is a Drupal product (not X-Notifier)... and has lots of features/issues.
I have seen some of my posts held for administrator approval and some blocked by some kind of spam filter... it usually gets cleared up... eventually.

Unfortunately, the html coding is limited... http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp/filter/tips ...and insertion of images isn't supported here, if I remember right.  To provide images, many of us use a free online image-hosting service (like TinyPic) and simply post a link here, to that image, from the service.

The forum takes a little practice, but you can get comfortable with it.

You seriously doubt ???????...
Okay... here's proof.
Just to post this post... I get captcha.

And if posting an imageshack host image without code tags you see the Spam filter triggered.

(imageshack is an image hosting)

Very upsetting when I am already in distress for help with the addon.
And there have been scripts for mail.com for years now.
Isn't it about time for the scripts to be added/merged into the addon so that the user does not have to manually jump through hoops to get things working normally?
Would really like that the way all the other users get the satisfaction of hotmail/gmail being automatically updated.

But I do appreaciate all your help with addon fixes for mail.com on this forum.

First... I'm just another X-Notifier user.

Second, that "Verification", as far as I know, is not a "Captcha".... which has abilities to speak the 'captcha' audibly, and to refresh for a new 'captcha'.  It is indeed a 'verification'... perhaps a feature of the Drupal forum software, but not a brand-name 'Captcha'... so until I could see your png file, I couldn't tell what was happening.  Some email providers use "Captcha" for what they feel is a necessary evil to prevent spam.
- Also, I, too, occasionally get those 'Verification' prompts... which is a spam defeating feature ...and the forums here have been getting spammed more often lately... so I don't see the feature as a big, distressing problem, just an occassional annoyance, if that. (I think posting extra things, like links, <code>, and trying to include images, perhaps may trigger the 'Verification' more than just text posts.)

Third, the author of X-Notifier has chosen to include some embedded scripts for MAJOR email providers, like Hotmail and Gmail... which have millions of users.  Mail.com  ...while I use it, does not have as many users.  You are free, of course, to make the request to embed the mail.com script... but one of the points of X-Notifier is to allow for scripting other providers besides those embedded with the product.  So at some point the developer has to choose what scripts to embed and has chosen not to embed every script he makes... as there are some email providers that only have a few people requesting/using scripts for X-Notifier.
- The more scripts that are embedded... the more often the developer has to update the -entire- program release to accommodate changes in the embedded scripts... whereas having separate scripts means they are more easily updated without a new entire-program update. (And some email providers change their login annoyingly frequently.)
-  mail.com script for years?  Perhaps.   X-Notifier has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times, but mail.com script only 1272 times... even Facebook script has only been downloaded 2639 times.... yet I'm fairly certain that hundreds of thousands of downloaders have downloaded X-Notifier primarily for Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, and a few (embedded) others.

So, I'm glad I was able to help you get mail.com working... but I can't help with your distress.  Feel free to make a separate post about embedding the mail.com script in X-Notifier.  Again, I am NOT affiliated with X-Notifier, I don't make scripts, I'm just another of the people who've downloaded, and DONATED to, the X-Notifier donation-ware program.

X-Notifier is a 'sideline' product of the developer who has another job/profession besides making this donation-ware for us and others who don't pay (donate), to use it.  Maybe it's not perfect... but this forum is for developer AND user-to-user support, which is how a lot of free, shareware, and donation-ware software gets support.

Good luck on getting X-Notifier to work as you want...  again, the Drupal forum software is not supporting embedding graphics via HTML code... if you want to include a link... just type the basic:   http ://etc    ...link, you don't need any <code></code> prefix/suffixes.  A full link will be made clickable by the Drupal forum software. The more <html> verbiage, the more likely you'll get a 'Verification' prompt.
