Hi Tobwithu and the crew,
I couldn't resist to ask, because I am using this web browser more and more, and find that it is so nice, is it possible maybe to create xnotifier extension for maxthon?
Thanks in advance, Vlada ;)

IE
Maxthon is based on Internet Explorer.
IE programming is more complex.
Notice that admin has not created an addon for IE.
Good luck, though ;)...

I didn't know that
Thanks RpD , I didn't know that. Maxthon is using trident rendering engines and webkit rendering engine, and have the option to costumise user agent on firefox, chrome, safari, opera, maxthon and IE ( if everything this have anything to do on which browser is some other made , I am not any expert, please understand ) , and I've never thought that it is IE based. :D
Honestly I thought it's chrome based. :D
Ok, no problem. Thanks anyway. ;)
I am sorry because more I use maxthon, I like it more. :D

No need to be sorry
No problem... maybe there's a way to do X-Notifier for Maxthon.
I'm just another user posting here in forum, but...
...you can see the history of Maxthon (formerly "MyIE") here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxthon

The news
Hi,
thanks RpD , I've found out now that because maxthon use webkit rendering engine along with Trident, it is possible to make xnotifier available.
One more thing, it is actually evident, because I have on the facebook enabled security option which send me the email notification if on some other browser is logged on my account, and from time to time I log in there using the new version of maxthon, I am getting the answer "Chrome on Facebook" is logged. :D

Is possible ;)
Ah...
I see that Trident is from Microsoft for Windows (and Internet Explorer), while Webkit is for many other apps/operating systems.

Good luck ;)

Thanks pal
Thanks RpD, I hope Tobwithu will see this post and find interesting for him self to create xnotifier for maxthon.
Just to repeat, after many years using firefox, than chrome, ( I've used opera periodically ), and after discovering maxthon at the beginning of this year, I am feeling now like the new man. Every new day I like maxthon more and more. :D

Maxthon
I use several browsers, mostly for compatibility reasons... with various websites/features on the 'net.
I've used Maxthon in the past, but it dropped off my list... 'cause I have so many browsers already.
Maybe I'll play with it again. ;)

I'm sorry to say that I
I'm sorry to say that I cannot make X-notifier for Maxthon in near future.
I am currently managing X-notifier for 4 different browsers. I'm doing it alone.
I reiviewed Maxthon extension API. It is different from those of above 4 browsers.
This means that it takes much time to make extension for Maxthon.
Maxthon is minor browser at this time.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers)
If Maxthon gets sufficiently large number of users, I will think about it.

Ok, no problem
Thanks Tobwithu, no problem, I understand.
Will wait than and see what will happen in the future. ;)
I am delighted and am using Maxthon with pleasure, and that's why I've asked about the opinion. I am sure it will grow and become more familiar among people.
The opportunity to have so quickly access into the user bookmarks, settings, passwords etc., even on the strangers maxthon browser, and with logging off that browser to have the users data deleted from that computer, is something ( because of speed and simplicity ) what even chrome and firefox don't have, and because of many other implemented features I am using maxthon with great pleasure. :D
