Inbox and Advertisement

Hi,
I did an update to version 2.2.8. In the settings I have "Inbox only" checked, but now I am also notified about emails in the tab advertisement. It shows me more than 20.000 new emails :D. Can this be fixed, please?

Yes i have the same since the last update. I only want to be notified from message received in my main inbox (GMAIL), not the advertisement, forums, socials inboxes.

 

I will remove this add-on if this is the new way to go.

Same on my side. Notify inbox only is checked and I received notifications for all tabs.

And also same issue, after deleting the message and click on Refresh, the mail count doesn't reset (https://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp/node/3888)

I am spammed by Gmail notifications for advertisements, forums, socials inboxes even if "Notify inbox only" is checked.

Please fix it. The issue still occurring for 1 month.

You can use a filter for your Gmail inbox to mark incoming Social, Promotions and Forums mail as read so X-notifier only notifies you for incoming Primary inbox mail: https://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp/comment/13581#comment-13581
