Need help with office 365

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

My company uses email.sebts.edu to check our email through office 365 I think. Is there anyway to have xnotifier check this account also? I can not figure it out.

X-notifier for Firefox continiously requests code every browser usage

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

I run a vpn service off and on and every time I use my browser constantly asks me to enter code. There should be a workable solution to enter code and remember. I like x-notifier but this is a true pain in the ass to enter codes every browser use. Please fix.

How to debug a script

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Hello there!

I am writing a new script to check email for my provider, which is based on XandMail (the same as Aruba). The following works but I got here by trial and error. I want to know if there is a possibility to debug the script by dumping it's internal variables at some stage. See comment below.

Can you help?

Script:

/**********************************************************
email-pro , da Aruba.it
**********************************************************/
var name="email-pro.eu";
var ver="2014-03-08-c";

function init(){
  this.loginData=["https://webmail.email-pro.eu/authenticate.php","login","password","lang=it&theme=ext_alicom%2Fclassic.share=&USEHTMLTPL="];
  //this.cookieDomain="email-pro.eu";
}
function getCount(aData){
  var fnd=aData.match(/b64name:"SU5CT1g=".+?unreadMsgs:"(\d+)"/);
  if(fnd){
    return fnd[1];
  }else{
    return -1;
  }
}
function process(aData,aHttp) {
  switch(this.stage){
  case ST_LOGIN_RES:
    var fnd=aData.match(/url:"(\S+?ID=(\S+?)&\S+?)"/);
    if(fnd){
      //I want to dump aData and fnd HERE
      this.dataURL="https://webmail.email-pro.eu/cgi-bin/ajaxmail?Act_Folders=1&ImapReq=0&fldinfo=1&Tpl=mailinfo&ID="+fnd[2];
      this.viewURL=fnd[1].replace("www1.dc.xandmail.com", "webmail.email-pro.eu");
      this.stage=ST_DATA;
    }
    break;
  }
  return this.baseProcess(aData,aHttp);
}

Check-Interval isn't happening, X-notifier not checking for new emails, or updating BOLD list after emails are read -- fixed!

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Symptoms:

The "Check Interval" wasn't active.  There was no automatic checking for new emails, or changing BOLD type for email accounts back to regular type after reading the new emails, or updating the number of unread emails.

Clicking on "Check Now" from the X-notifier pull-down menu was a manual work-around.

The fix is to click "Enable" from the X-notifier pull-down menu, which is too easy, and it removes the big Red "X" from the top of the X-notifier icon, and re-enables the Check Interval.

Why didn't I know that?  Thanks, CyberTooth.

PS: Ohhh, it's so nice when it's working again.

X-notifier ruins google's settings somehow, affected google maps

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Google recently pushed the new google maps, but you can retrun to the old version (and remember). However, X-notifier will prevent this setting to work.

To repo this problem, first you need to install x-notifier, and set up a gmail account and don't modify any default settings (because I only repo'd the problem with default setttings).

After that, open google maps: http://maps.google.com/

If it showes the new google maps,  click the right bottom question mark, and select "Return to classasic google maps".

It will ask "You have switched back to classic Google Maps for this session. Remember this choice for next time?" Click "yes".

Close firefox entirely. Then restart.

Open google maps again,the problem happened: it's still showing the new google maps! Despite that you have set that "I wanna the classic one". If it doesn't happen, close and restart Firefox again. For me it will always happen after up to twice restarting.

If you disable your google account in x-notifier or the add-on itself, this problem suddenly resolved. It takes me sometime to figure out it's this add-on to cause this problem..

X-Notifier -AOL Rich text Media Not Working

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

I am using the current versions of both Firefox (27) and your addon
X-Notifier (312) for Aol (Aol 9.7).

No matter what version I use of firefox after Version 4.1, I cannot
compose aol email using the AOL rich text media HTML setting. After
writing a few lines, the email will freeze up and I can no longer type
any words. The only work around is to disable rich text media html and
use plain text. Any suggestions how to fix the Rich text Media html
problem? Thank You-Jerry

gmail suspicious sign in prevented

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Hi all and congratulations for your excellent addon
I have a problem for a few months now.

I’ve notice that every time I change my ip (disconnect and reconnect router)
All my gmail accounts (about 5-7) are blocked from xnotifier (not checked) and when I login manually to them I’ve got the notorious “suspicious sign in prevented” email, and as if this wasn’t enough, after some time Gmail forced me to change my password in every account (that I had set up in xnotifier) -imagine the frustration.
Of course the “suspicious hacker” was my self and my new ip (I checked)
Additional information (after a lot of searching) this article: Hacking your own GMail account - http://zverovich.net/2012/07/10/hacking-your-own-gmail-account.html (talks about that exact FALSE POSITIVE kind of problem)

So the question is, could we have any solution or workaround with that (like old days)?
I still want to be able to change my ip from time to time (eg 5-10 times a day) for numerous reasons, and yet have no problem at all with xnotifier - just like the way it was so far (I so much miss these days) :)

Thank you in advance!
