v3.5.7 Switching gmail accounts: You have been signed out of this account

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Since the latest update v3.5.7 I can not switch Gmail accounts and when I click on another account I keep getting either a red bar at the top of gmail

Gmail is having authentication problems. Some features may not work. Try logging in to fix the problem.

or the following pop up

You have been signed out of this account.

This may have happened automatically because another user signed in from the same browser. To continue using this account, you will need to sign in again. This is done to protect your account and to ensure the privacy of your information.

Also I can not reuse the same window to switch accounts like before.

Currently the only way around this situation is to clear cache & cookies and recheck emails.

Thank you.

Xnotfier not signing in to all accounts Version 3.5.6 on FF 37.0.2

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

This is happenoing on all of my 4 PC's, I have 6 Gmail accounts, and on one only one signs in, and, it is not always the sames ones that don't sign in. I have tried everything, clearing cache, I check all passowrds in FF password manager to make sure they were correct. I even created a new profile and the same issue. I can't believe I am the only one having this issue, this is happening on 4 different PC's. My emails login fine on my Android devices with no issues. I am able also to login to all of my accounts manually, so I know it is not a Gmail issue. Please advise and those of you having the same issue, please post here, so the Dev can see others are having the same issue.

Account not checked

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

I have 3 Gmail accounts and, up until a couple of days ago, have had no problems. However, for no apparent reason, only 2 of the 3 accounts are being checked.

I have tried everything, deleting the affected account  and adding it back...doing the same thing with all 3 accounts...removing the Add-on and re-installing it. Nothing works.

Any suggestions, please?

Hotmail 2-step verification

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

There's nothing that can be done right now, 2 step just does not work with xnotifier for hotmail. Using main password, using app password, even using ms security code, nothing works, 2 step pop up comes up over and over and over from xnotifier.

Firefox and Ubuntu

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

First of all, my system (at the moment) is as follows:

Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) with kernel 3.13.0-49-generic (#83-Ubuntu SMP )Gigabyte 956P-DS3 motherboard
8 GBytes of RAM
Intel Core2Duo CPU  6300  @ 1.86GHz
Graphics Processor: GeForce GT 610 with 48 CUDA Cores and 2 GBytes Memory
HD WD500GB SATA
Onboard 10/100/1000baseT 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller vendor: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.
Onboard Intel HD Audio Controller 82801H (ICH8 Family)

Well this last week after, I had five situations where my system freezed (after many years using stable Linux versions).

I had to REISUB to gain controle back and kill Firefox.

I started to check update, upgrades, and finally started to disable Firefox plugins.  I use very few, which I list bellow:

Adblock Plus 2.6.9
Flashblock 1.5.8
Language Pack Install Helper 2.5
Ubuntu Firefox Modification 3.0
Unity Websites integration 2014.08.06.beta
Webmail Ad Blocker 4.28
X-notifier 3.5.6 (manual update mode - not set "Enable")

My X-notifier has many gmail, yahoo, hotmail, ig mail boxes to check.

What I have identified:

When I update the X-notifier by clicking "Check now", the CPU usage goes up fast and never falls below 20% after all is checked.
After that I disable the plugin and restart, as instructed, and again enable and restart again and CPU returns to normal.

Please help, I really like X-notifier.
