Alert Window size?

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

So got a bit of a question

Up until this morning, I was using Firefox 28, because I was not at all fond of the Firefox 29+ setup. The stability issues have become too great however, so I updated to the current Firefox as of now. However, I noticed something a little annoying.

In the pre-FF29 Firefox X-notifier setup, the alert window whenever I received an email would show up in the lower right corner of the screen. It was small and compact but still noticeable enough. Upon updating to the current Firefox however, the alert window has been increased to an obnoxiously large size, to the point it impedes activity by covering up whatever I might be clicking on while working.

Is there any way to adjust the alert window size possibly back to its more convenient size? I can't figure out if it's a problem caused by the extension or by Firefox itself, I don't really know.

4.01 issues

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

The sole reason I use x-notifier as it stands is to easily have the status of three individual emails displayed separately at all times (.e.g http://i.imgur.com/luC8B8y.png), this does not seem to be possible with 4.01?

The extension is also simply not working with multiple hosts configured. If I untick all but one it works fine but checking more than 1 simply causes it to infinitely say it is checkign all but the yahoo email.

It is also not picking up previous version's settings at all and I had to re-enter all manually and I truly do not appreciate that the settings page has a forced advert for (at the time) a sketchy looking driver update tool despite using hosts file and ublock to avoid such things in general.

Frankly for now it felt like a complete downgrade and I will be sticking with 3.x as long as it's viable to do so.

yahoo.com.AU settings

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Can you please tell me what settings are used to access the old YAHOO.COM.AU mail

It works fine in the addon, but I need to set up a mail client on another PC and it won't accept the username or password using the normal Yahoo settings. They are right, just not accepted by the Thunderbird program I'm trying to set up.

Or is there a file now on my PC from the addon that stores these I can look at?

Thx in advance - Trevor

X-notifier Version 4.0.1 does not work

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Hi, I'm using Firefox 50 beta 1 and I noticed today X-notifier was auto updated to v.4.0.1

Well, it does not show any of my previously configured accounts from v.3.x and I can't configure them again from scratch. When I go to 'Options' the dropdown menu does not show any email provider:

I also read that this version will not support scripts to use additional email providers, is that true?

Thank you.

Yahoo Mail with 2 step verification does not work

Forums
X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

Hello. I am running X-notifier on a Windows 8.1 machine and I have updated my security settings in Yahoo to include 2 step verification. However X-notifier no longer works for Yahoo. I have tried deleting all the cookies, I have tried generating a password from the Yahoo account (like I did for Mail on Windows 10). No matter what I did checking does not function... Do you know what else I can try?
