X-notifier 3.x for Firefox (deprecated)

I would like a step by step guide on how do I use an X-Notifier script to be notified of new mail in my comcast.net email account:

Since I am a total novice on using X-Notifier Scripts, I will need simple and clear directions on

1. Finding and choosing the script to use for a comast.net email account.

2. Setting up or installing the script in Firefox.

3. Setting up Script options in X-Notifier.

is x-notifyer 4 even usable?  with the loss of account information and all the bugs, I am thinking it was kinda irrisponsiable to release 4 in its current state.

Is this a fair evaluation?

You are doing a great work here.

I want to submit some bugs t hat I have notice. After tha last upgrade of xn All my accounts info was deleted.

I had a backup so it wasnt so bad, but this an issue to be resolved.

and a personal opinion: I preffer the old interface and fuction of xn when you left click on the icon opens all mail accounts on difrent tabs (when you have new mails).

That's all said, using Ccleaner now leads to erased all the accounts in X-Notifier.

Just a report. I know Firefox 50+ is a huge change for you, I hope everything will go on the good way as before soon because this add-on is very apreciate and useful. Thanks for your works.

1. I have X-notifier 4.0.2 as add-on in Firefox 50.0.2
2. The problem: after (i) adding and saving e-mail addresses, and (ii) closing and opening the browser a few time thereon, the e-mail addresses go missing and have to be added again.

I am using version 4.0.2 and have added a secondary gmail account that I don't use often but sometimes need to check the emails on. Every time I go to a Google page, I am getting logged out of my main account that I typically browse in and getting logged into the secondary account. This is a work account, so I need to be careful about what I'm posting from which account, and I am getting very frustrated with logging out of the secondary account and back into the regular account every few minutes. Can someone please tell me how to make this stop? Or do I need to find another way to check a secondary Gmail because this is a default behavior of x-notifier? Thanks.

Since updating to 4.0.2, the Auto-Hide Notification feature is always ON even if we uncheck the box for that feature in the options.

As a result, the notification rectangle at the bottom of the screen disappears after about a minute, when it should actually remain visible until we manually close it or click on it.

Could you possibly fix it?
