Switch Win to Linux cannot find command line open T bird

By ryan44Y , 26 February 2016

No problems with X-n FF & TB on Win. Switch Linux cannot find anywhere command line string, FF new mail POP X-n start TB.
In Win the string was:  file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mozilla%20Thunderbird/thunderbird.exe

In Lubuntu  14.04 x64 no idea. Seems Google doesn't either?

Thanking, in advance, anyone that can help.

Cheers.

Ubuntu executable paths...

Sorry this is late, but for the post/thread, I googled (since I don't have a linux installation now), and found a couple comments...

Re: find executable path
Most of the binaries are stored in /usr/bin, /bin, or /usr/local/bin.

And... there are a few commands to find things, you might try:  whereis thunderbird
