Well I had the x-notifier on my browser for years now and love it. Today I start Firefox and everything was working fine until I believe my browser updated. At that point I get told that some add ons are no longer working. I clicked on the notification to see what it was talking about it was only showing "Microsoft .NET framework assistant" and it said I could restart it or something along those lines.
Re-install
Hi there gtpforever,
I had the same issue after updating Firefox to version 43 but I was able to re-install the add-on from the Mozilla website:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/xnotifier/
Maybe this will work for you, too.

I also have a problem.

Got another Firefox update today.
Still doesn't work. I have tried about everything to get it to work. I really wish that the maker of this would update it to work with what ever is going on with Firefox. Its not Firefox's job to make sure it works with everything its the makers of the add-on's and plugins job to make sure they update to work with new Firefox updates. Please fix this!!
