Reinstalled win 7, newest firefox. x-notifier installed just ok. Can't add acounts. Can't open dropdown menu (where bofere had all possible mail systems). Reinstalled notifier few times. No help. Only way to get to options is from firefox add-ons manager. Any idea what to do to get my hotmails and gmail account to the program ?

For some reason, that sounds familiar to me. Don't remember what I might have done, but that would've been aggravating.
I would uninstall X-Notifier, disable all other add-ons, restart FF, and try re-installing X-N... (are you using FF Master Password, did you 'sync' Firefox?), and otherwise...
I might try removing both X-Notifier and Firefox, and reboot... then maybe install an older version of Firefox and X-Notifier, and try adding accounts from scratch... then update FF and X-N.
Sounds like a glitch in program setup... and needs to get cleaned out somehow.
