Secure export of email logon data

By LightWAve , 12 January 2014

Hi there!.. =]

How would I stop someone from simply opening my browser and exporting my email logon data?

There's  a password to secure this info if you were to try and import a found .xn file.

....but no security from someone being able to export it themselves.

/cheers for any help.

For Firefox...

Use the Firefox Master Password to secure X-Notifier in Firefox... when you start Firefox, it will ask for Master Password... if that password is not entered, X-Notifier is not available (Options, Export is not available).

P.S.  You might edit your post to remove all the excessive linefeeds on the end... that puts a bunch of blank space at the bottom of your post and pushes replies way down the page.

Cheers!

I did a master password after I posted... but didn't know it locked everything else down.

...thats very cool then... :)

Many thanks indeed for your help!... :D
